It will work, but because it has softer waxes, there are better products for that purpose. I recommend Kirby Allison’s Hangar Project videos on YouTube for learning the intricacies of shoe shining, and product tutorials on the entire range of Saphir products.

will it work on soft leather?

I have only used it on shoes, but one pair is pretty soft leather and it works fine. I believe it will work on any leather.

Does anyone use this to spit shine 5.11 boots? I currently use Lincoln, but this brand was suggested to me.

I didnot like it it will shine your boots but it will not fix the color so I think it’s just a wax thing
