DURATECH 3-IN-1 Ratchet Handle, 1/4 ", 3/8 ", 1/2" Drive Ratchet Wrench

Nice little ratchet! Has 3 drives. 1/4"- 3/8" and a 1/2" drive. Works for anything. Total Length is 7" long.

I remember my Dad (old school farmer who fixed everything himself) having many different socket sets with differing sizes of drive. I also bought a set of splined drive bits to work on my VW, but they came with no ratchet. However, they did come in 3 different drive sizes... ugh! I found this ratchet, and used it as soon as it arrived this morning. Did a great job. It feels solid and it's heavy (though not overly so) so at least gives the feel of being well-made. No looseness or movement when using it - it felt positive while tightening up the bolts. Reccommend as it's a great price and gives you the 3 different drive sizes in one convenient package.

If you bought this as a workhorse, get a better tool. This is intended to be a multi use tool for one of situations. I bought this for my tool bag on my bike after my last set got stolen. (That one had snap-on etc.) I told myself I needed something that I wouldn't care if it got stolen or lost. This fits the bill. I now have a tool that can accommodate 3 sizes of sockets and it's only one wrench. It works perfect for why I bought it, but it does not replace a quality ratchet.

I liked the concept of 3 size socket drive heads on one wrench. The only problem I encountered was all three small retention ball bearing and springs on each drive head were stuck and socket would not slide onto drive. I quickly remedied it by using a punch and pushing down hard on the retention ball bearing and spring then dropping a small amount of oil down into it and working it up and down. After a minute it worked perfectly but the problem with oil is that grit may get into it eventually. My recommendation to the manufacturer is during the building process that fill that hole with molybdenum grease before inserting the spring and ball bearing. Hence the 4 star review and not 5. It's a great product idea and I would buy to again!

Good value for money. I have other Duratech products and they are all of good quality.

Great tool

Been using this for a while now and it still works! Have had poor durability on other brands. I’m hoping this one is the last one I have to buy.

It’s adequate for a handbook that goes In the junk drawer in the kitchen, but don’t expect Wera (or even Harbor Freight) performance.
