30m Retractable Clothes Line, Extendable Washing Line, Double Line

Zero complaints. Sturdy, easy to install and does the job perfectly. Good length and two lines is a massive plus.

I bought the Minky Retractable Duo Reel Washing Line to make better use of my outdoor space, and it has been a great solution. The two 15 metre lines provide plenty of drying space for everyday laundry, while the retractable design keeps everything neat and tidy when not in use. Installation was straightforward, and the reel feels sturdy and well made. The lines extend smoothly and lock securely in place, making it easy to hang a full load of washing without worrying about the line sagging too much. The grey finish also looks smart and blends nicely into the garden. One of the best features is how much space it saves compared with a traditional washing line. When the laundry is finished, the lines simply retract away, leaving the area clear and uncluttered. It is especially useful for smaller gardens, patios or anyone who wants a flexible drying option. Overall, this is a practical and reliable washing line that does exactly what it promises. It is easy to use, offers plenty of drying room and helps keep outdoor spaces tidy. A great choice for anyone looking for a convenient alternative to a fixed washing line.

This is the second of these Minky clothes lines that I have bought, with this one being a direct replacement for the first. The product is fairly easy to install if you can do a bit of basic DIY. Drill two vertically stacked holes in your wall, screw in the mounting post, and then slot the plastic housing containing the reel onto the top. Once in use, the clothes line is effective, you drag the end of the line over to your chosen attachment point, and then you walk back and wrap a section of clothes line around an oval shaped plastic retainer at the bottom of the reel housing, which keeps the line taught. What I found was that after maybe 3 or 4 years of use, the aforementioned plastic oval retainer became brittle and snapped off, meaning I could no longer anchor the clothes line. Apart from this issue, I had been completely happy with the product, so I chose to order the same again, as I already had the correct mounting post up on the wall. Taking the reasonable price into account, I felt that 3-4 years was decent value for the product. Plastic does become brittle and snap when constantly exposed to the elements, so you can't expect it to last forever if it's permanently kept outside. You could of course detach the reel from the mount (very easy to do, it simply slides on and off) and store it indoors or in your shed when not in use, which would no doubt prolong its life, although this would be a bit inconvenient.

I purchased this line to replace one that decided to dump all my clean washing on the floor! This Minky was extremely easy to position and secure to the wall (according to husband). I am really pleased with the quality of the unit and the tying off of the lines. First load, pegged out, dried and brought in. Nothing ended up on the floor - bonus!!

Minky is a reliable brand and does not disappoint. Purchased for my mother who lives abroad, this is in the sun often but shows no signs of stress as a result. She was very happy with the purchase.

Returned to a Minky branded retractable clothes line after trying a cheaper alternative. The quality of the line seems to be the most important thing. The cheaper models have stretchy feeble lines that droop and stretch. Minky lines don’t sag or stretch and simply work for hanging out the washing. Installation requires a decent drill with a hammer setting. Fixings need to go into brick (not the mortar line) or concrete. The retraction is ok but not perfect. Overall it wins because of the line quality and I am therefore a Minky Man.

Love it - the best part is that you can leave the bracket up but take the rest down when not in use, therefore no worry about it being destroyed by the weather, having the two lines is great two and if you only have one load then you don’t need to use both lines

Comprato da una decina di giorni. Mia madre entusiasta mi ha fatto un monumento per questo piccolissimo e funzionale stendi panni. Dotato di un ottimo cavo avvolgente in nylon lungo 15 metri è la soluzione ideale per la terrazza di mia madre lunga 12 metri. Il cavo scorre molto bene e si riavvolge altrettanto bene. In corredo troverete anche tre tasselli per fissare il Minky. Due per l'avvolgi cavo ed uno da mettere dalla parte opposta per agganciarlo. Sotto il Minki troverete una sporgenza dove poter bloccare il filo in modo che con il peso non si srotoli e venga giù tutto. Quindi per montarlo basta un trapano ed un muro dove poter fissare il tutto oppure un'altra superficie purché resistente a tenere tutto il peso dei panni appesi. Che dire : per quello che costa se un giorno si rompe ne ricompro altri due. Saluti .

I had a permanently installed clothesline that would block my view all the time. This is the perfect substitute! I had 2 lines up, so no loss of hanging room. This is hanging in the same spot, between pillars about 25 feet apart. As long as I get the line secured snugly, there is very little drooping, even when loaded down with a large load! I realize there is a lot more line in the thing, so it might be different if I were using the entire length. This seems to be built well. It is easy to remove from the bracket, which I do in hopes of extending its life. I think the plastic will get brittle over time in the hot Arizona sun and heat. The lines retract so easily. There is no "catch", so you just unhook the line, unwind at the stopper and walk it in. Installation was done by my husband, but looked easy enough in wood pillars. The metal bracket stays in place and the 2 little hooks stay in the other end. Much better than the old lines hanging all the way across all the time. I only wish I had gotten this sooner.

Excellent and I got it at a very good price point then. Sturdy and very well made, will last for years.

Este colgador es de buen material, plastico duro y de apariencia resistente; sencillo de instalar y bastante estético. El único detalle que noto es que el lazo como tal es de plástico por lo que algunas prendas se resbalan así así como los ganchos, pero con pinzas de ropa se arregla. Otro detalle es la manera de bloquear el largo del lazo, es un poco complicado al inicio ya qué debes hacer unos giros o nudos cuidando que la cuerda no quede floja. Además de eso es buen producto
