Mandoline Slicer - Vegetable Slicer 5 in 1 Multi-function Food Slicer Grater Chopper Fruit and Cheese Cutter with 5 Interchangeable Blades and Safety Food Holder (Red)

Bought this item a year ago for one recipe but it’s become a staple in my kitchen. I wanted to thinly slice potatoes so purchased this slicer and was very impressed with it. I now use it all the time! The choice of blades mean it’s a useful multi tool and they’re all very sharp - even after a lot of use. It comes with a vegetable holder so you don’t have to worry about slicing your fingers either. It’s super easy to clean and the blades all fit inside for easy storage.

Very simple to use but great care must be taken when using this product as you could suddenly have your hand slip off from the handle and grate your own hand..Various blades are included to create different vegetable cuts; I do not however know how long this blades will stay sharp...Other than that the base is quite sturdy even when you put some force on to it...

The slicer is not a bad product at first when using although after days of using it i noticed that the slicing was not efficient as it could be. Although what i must say that the idea of having key like pieces to just change the method of slicing is very clever to have as it means less washing as other slicers have big pieces that have to be washed which just occupies space on the dishwasher. In terms of cutting it does is well but can require effort at times although its not that bad overall in ny opinion. The storage container is very effecient as it means you can store once having chopped them. I hope my review is helpful.

Needs somewhere to attach the thing that grips the veg (No idea what to call it) to grip onto the mandolin as the last one I owned got lost, rendering the mandolin, useless. Other than this, I love that all the attachments slot into this mandolin making it neat, tidy and easy. Good product to buy. Deserves it's 5 stars.

I was not able to use the slicers very easily and when slicing tomatoes they went all slushy and mushy would not buy again.

Works well, but you have to watch the way you use handle as guide lip can catch on blade if wrong way round (90 degree)

Received on the Friday, ended up in A&E on the Sunday!! The spiked holder keeps slipping off the vegetable and I almost slicef the end of my finger off. The only thing it cuts well (apart from fingers) is courgette. It sticks if you try potato, carrot, parsnip and sweet potato so I end up using a knife anyway. I had to buy a metal glove to use this safely but as I say the only thing it will slice is courgette. Very expensive courgette slicer!!

Superb mandolin slicer!!! Makes gorgeous crisps with potatoes apples and parsnips, done in the microwave. Easy to use but mind the blade - it is very sharp!! Arrived quickly and well packaged. Thank you. XXX
