Very happy with these. Easy to fit, look very smart, and do a good job.

I have trees near my drains which results in a leaf build-up and eventual blockage every Autumn. To avoid the resulting mess I bought these covers to clip on to the drainpipe and cover the drain. First impressions are that these are a bit flimsy. The plastic seems thin and lightweight and I have a concern that in the long term the sunlight will harden and crack them. I have previous experience of direct sunlight hardening and eventually cracking thin black plastic. However for the time being they cover the drains well and solve the leaf problem. The thin plastic they are made from is a slight advantage when fitting them as I needed to trim it to fit around the pipe and this was easily done. In summary then - they immediately solved the problem of leaves blocking my drains but I do have concerns about how long these will last - I suspect I will get 2 or 3 years at most out of them. If your drains are not in direct sunlight I would expect that they would last much longer. For now I am happy with them as I will not have to put up with another Autumn/Winter of clearing up filthy pooled water caused by blocked drains and that is worth the price I paid for them.

Not exactly as shown in photos, as no anchor plates. Although it did have slideways to drop over the screws when screwed into the wall. OK for someone with DIY know how. The product did fit so ok.

Very good value. I had to remove some of the plastic to make it fit my drain but it worked out okay.
