Unexpected purchase, but great case!
Best case I have purchased so far. It's been a while since I pruchased a computer case, and this was to complete my new build after a issue I had with a graphics card being to big for the Fractal Design Define R3 E-ATX case. This case fits everything in - I had to do my research as the new build was already escalating in price. This case is very flexible in its configuration, especially if you still use DVD or Blu-ray drives as well as tradition al 3.5 SATA hard disk drives or even SSDs. Cable managmeent wasn't brilliant maybe because the configuration of the mainboards are so different and also a non modular PSU is a bit messy I suppose Other than that the airflow is good, and I do regular maintenance with the relative ease of access.

Perfect "LARGE" PC Tower Case!
I bought this PC Tower for a home build system, or should I say rebuild as I wanted a roomier case to move my current set-up into and this item absolutely fit the bill! I have a full size ATX board, a reasonably large GPU, a big CPU cooler and a non-modular PSU which in my existing case were shoe-horned in. Severely obstructing and reducing airflow. NO LONGER! The be quiet! Pure Base 600 allowed me to transfer everything easily and with room to spare. The Build quality of the be quiet! Pure Base 600 is excellent! The steel case is sturdy and both side panels fit flush to the body. There are mesh panels covering the fan mounts and all the standard (On/Off, Audio I/O 3.5mm, reset, 2x USB 3.0 and activity light) front panel connections work. it comes with 2 large pre-installed fans and room for several more to be added. Both side panels are sound proofed which effectively muffles fan noise. It is modular inside so the both HDD and ODD carriers can be removed or moved as required should you require space for a water-cooling option. I am still using Optical Drives which many cases these days no longer have the front 5.25" bays that they require and this case has 2! There is neat full depth raised roof on the case that can be opened to 3 positions increasing airflow, which naturally allows more sound to escape but if you are using silent fans it is hardly noticeable. The base stands on 4 feet giving it clearance for more airflow. In conclusion: The be quiet! Pure Base 600 for the price gives a real bang-for-the-buck option if you want a "basic" case which ticks all the right boxes. It has no no fancy see-through side panel or LED lighting, nor the overly sculptured design of cases aimed at gaming. It is simply a large totally black box and perfect for my requirements. I took my time looking at various cases before purchasing the be quiet! Pure Base 600 case and am delighted that my choice was perfect!

Easy to cable, very quiet
My ASUS TUF Gaming Z590 Plus WiFi motherboard needed a new case. It's my standby computer that I also use for Zoom and Teams; it's air-cooled and overclocked but I need it to be quiet for online meetings. This case is quieter than my Fractal Design tower, there's plenty of space for cabling and, the HDD cages can be stripped out. Although the box it came in says there are 2x140 input fans , there's only one. The input and exhaust fans are both three wire and, I added a 120mm 4 wire input fan. A good selection of screws are provided, plus some hook and loop cable wrap. I occasionally use a CD, or a SATA SSD, so I needed 2x5.25" external bays, and this was one of the first cases that fitted the bill.

No compromise solidly built and very flexible
Wow it is heavy but ideal for a DIY PC build. Substantial coated steel construction for full size ATX motherboards and generous space for PSU and all the peripherals you could want. A key feature is 2 CD/DVD/BR optical bays which is a rare thing these days but if you want it this box has them and they are well positioned without needing to wrap cables into origami as sometimes happens. The HDD bays are moveable and removable. The specs talk alot about water cooling but my system is air cooled and it works perfectly. There is loads of room around everything for a big PSU, tall CPU cooler and 3 fan GPU. Unusually the 2 case fans are driven from a spare SATA power output with a manual speed selector on the case. There is probably a way to automate these but I like it as I leave it set to 1 for casual use and push it to 3 for intensive gaming. Summary - best air flow and quietest PC I have ever had and if the untested water cooling claims are correct could be even quieter. Compromise is that it is a big and heavy beast but with loads of room for any expansion your could want.

Solidly built
Have a good light to work in, inside is black (which is what I wanted) but if you drop a screw it's hard to find😊. Other than that looks brilliant, cables run nicely behind motherboard.

Solid well made product
Used this case for my home build of a PC. It suited the build very well. Room for hard drives and an optical drive which I wanted to install. Very pleased with the outcome.

Updating earlier review
Finally managing to contact the manufacturer who have now sent me some replacement wiring including that missing USB cable, but with no instructions so just hoping I can work it out. How, for example, do I get the front off to replace the wiring? I have to say that, having got over the initial problems with the copious but useless manual, the box is roomy and when in use VERY quiet. I may write a third review once I installed (or given up trying to install) the replacement wiring, which hopefully will also rectify another problem I have just noticed - HDD activity light not working!

big fan of be quiet! fans and now i have a sweet looking pc case, Pure Base 600. *Airflow is great because fans are powered from the top front Switch (positions are Low-Med-High) *this pc case met all my needs: 1) the cd/dvd rom player in 5.25" drive bay(s), 2) padded walls to dampen sound (my legacy pc system cpu/gpu fans were quite noisy, 3) i could rearrange the interior bays to suit my needs by adding extra HDD 4) plenty of room! 5) the best part... extra 140mm and 120mm fans! Now, the downside that prevented me from giving 10stars and a gold smiley... top cover can accidentally be smashed in and bend or break off the top lid tabs. keeps the dust out and i love the top lid feature! my retro gaming (offline) build: mobo: MSI 760GMA-P34 GPU: ASUS GTX770 DirectCU II 2Gb AMD FX 6300 w/ SilverStone KR01 cpu cooler really old CODEGEN 500X (550W) 3 Hard drives (but i'm testing more in future for total of 3 different OS builds) i hope i'm worthy of praise from be quiet!

I was surprised to see this case at a steal deal rate. I already have a Magforge 100r and needed a new case to replace my DIY PC case for the file server. PROs - very Quiet even in a silent room, 140mm fans are the quietest, fan speed control, spacious with ample cable Management. CONs - screws on side panels are not the best. Stand offs too of similar quality but passable for the price. Ssd trays are very tight to fit a standard sized SSD rendering them almost useless. Overall the cons did nt deter me from giving 5 stars considering the budget and other products on similar price range.
