Fantastic buy - would recommend to all
I used to have an Apple-made case for my iPad, but this is so much better. It's made from lovely leather with a really nice feel - I bought the Whisky Light Brown colour and it looks very smart, and my iPad fits perfectly inside, with full access to all the ports and buttons. It is quite a bit bigger than my previous case, but it is still very light and has protected my iPad from any bumps or knocks, including a drop from standing height (oops), and the iPad is absolutely fine and there are no marks on the case either! Also, the stand allows you to use the iPad both horizontally and vertically, which is a fantastic feature that I haven't seen in many other cases. Some other reviews have mentioned that the closing tab covers the screen slightly, which was a bit annoying at first until I realised there's a magnetic strip behind that you can fold the tab back onto to keep it from covering the screen. I don't know if it's a different version that they bought, but this one seems as if the designers have thought of everything.I'm very happy with this case - I bought it almost 2 months ago and it came beautifully wrapped in very nice packaging, and it's very good quality, too.I would recommend anyone to buy this case if they'd like a smart protective case for their iPad.

Remarkable quality
I have had an iPad in various forms for some 6 years, and have had a variety of leather cases in that time. For my money, the Pupil case is the best I have had (some of them have cost a lot more). The fit is excellent (I have experienced none of the difficulties mentioned by other reviewers). Holding the iPad Air 2 snugly and conveniently. The feel of the case, the quality of the leather and the solidity of the stitching are all excellent,The case isn't the thinnest or lightest. I take my iPad everywhere, and so having a sturdy protective case is important, so this suits me very very well. If one is after something super-slim and lightweight, then perhaps this isn't the best product. However, it still isn't heavy or bulky, and a few grammes of extra weight are worthwhile for the additional security. Additional weight is caused by the incorporated stand. This, however, is a good and practical stand which works better than the flimsier versions I have seen, without awkward flaps to tuck in or velcro fastenings. The closure flap is recessed into the case, which is elegant and practicable. It gives it the look of a leather notebook or diary.Given the price, it is an amazing product. One can't really go wrong.

iPad cover
The case itself is very good but it doesn't quite fit my IPad as its slightly small! This is probably my fault as I don't know what you call my IPad !I've already had a new case which I put back

Rustic ruggedness - makes an iPad Air look and feel like a leather bound book
This has something of a rough-hewn, rustic air to it - the leather sides are thick, more like slabs, with all inside surfaces left coarse and untreated. As a result, the case is both heavy (300gm - double the weight of Apple’s iPad Air Smart Case) and wide (around 22mm at the spine). If you fly on business, and weight and space are important to you, then this case is probably not for you. There is a magnetic leather flap that holds the case closed. When the case is open, this flap is held flat by another magnet located on the underside of the case. Unfortunately, on mine, this second magnet had been incorrectly located, and the flap could only be held in place when bent skew. Not exactly a life-or-death issue, but nevertheless visually irritating. The seller did immediately offer a 20% refund, which, although I’m sure it was well-intended, rather missed the point - I wanted a case that would match the iPad in quality. Saving £5 by buying a jumble sale case was NOT what I was after. On the positive side, the case looks good on the outside, it holds an iPad Air snugly so that it won’t slip out, and the over-sized sides provide a modest crumple zone that should offer at least a little protection from low level drops and knocks. The case is very tactile and makes your iPad feel and look like a leather-bound hardback book. Somehow, that is rather comforting and reassuring in a technological age. Despite its limitations, I’m already fond of the thing. But five stars means perfection, and this is not perfection. IMHO, the offer price of £24 is fair - the claimed original price of £60 is just silly.

Well made quality case.
A very nice quality iPad 2 case. The leather is soft but stiffened in the appropriate places to give good protection to the iPad. The stiching seems properly finished and neat. All the cut-outs are in the correct places the case looks classy. Can't go wrong for this price, I'm very happy with my purchase.Just as a follow up to my previous review - although I still consider the case good quality and good value for money, having had the case for 10 days or so I have noticed the cut out for the home button (I have my home button on the left hand side) isn't positioned correctly any more. The leather has given a little with wear, as you would expect and the iPad is weighing on the leather and the cut out for the home button is slowly becoming more out of position. This of course would not be a problem for folk who have their home button positioned on the right hand side - for those users they wouldn't experience the problem ism currently having.
