Yes but not too overpowering. I'm asthmatic and it doesn't make me coughm

It can hold all day and if you run your fingers through it, it helps lift it but remains effective. It goes a bit sticky in the rain but holds reasonable OK.

can you use this when straightening hair ?

I cannot answer that one. I use it to hold my hair in place as a hairspray.

Will this product be suitable to use when I curl my hair, normal hairsprays are not strong enough it keep it styled all day long

Absolutely, Paul Mitchell Hair spray is the best on the market. I don't buy any other. Its quite a light hairspray when you first put it on your hair, but it holds your hair even in strong wind.
