The gold standard for Nintendo Wii
I have been working on Nintendo Wiis for a long time and there has been a debate about how to do the thermals. Some say use paste, others say use another pad, others want to go with phase change material. The truth of the matter is that it's built for pads. Thermal grizzly is nice but the pads don't stack well. You will need about 1.2mm of thickness to fill the gap. Enter this pad. These are nice and they are rather high performance for the price. They are easy to use. Just trim what you need. Peel one side off. Plant it down. Then peel the other side off. The pad will expand a bit. Then plant your heatsink down and go. Yea, it's that easy. For what the Wii is this pad is kinda overkill but it's one of the few pads on the market that you can stack up to 2mm without any issues. It transfers heat very well and it's soft enough to fill any gaps. My Wii's not working itself to death anymore and it has since developed a large silence to it. If you need a pad that's thick without a loss of performance this is the pad for you.

Another solid Arctic cooling solution
I needed some thermal pads for the VRAM of an iMac I was updating and found my supply had become a bit crusty. Yeah I could have just gone with thermal grease but frankly have found pads work better for applications with larger gaps between surfaces like VRAM chips and SSD blades Arctic has been a reliable brand for decades so clicked the thickness I needed and grabbed a sheet. Came with sturdy but not overly bulky packaging, easy to add to my supply kit. Pad itself is nicely presented with a cutting guide on one side for both horizontal and vertical lines which is a nice touch and made sizing easier as I'm used to just winging it with a sharpie and a ruler. Application was simple and performance is measurably better than the dried up 10 year old grease it replaced which isn't shocking but worth mentioning.Yes there are cheaper options but Artic has never let me down and I'm more of a "do it right the first time" sort of DIY'er so rather spend a little more on a product I know isn't going to fail me.

I use this instead of thermal paste and it works VERY well!
I love this stuff over thermal paste. You can mark off the right size for your CPU, cut off the right sized chunk, and lay it directly on your CPU. Works flawlessly and don't have to mess with thermal paste ever again! This is the buy! A++++

Thermal upgrade
Far less messy than typical thermal paste. I used this on my SIL's older computer. New CPU fan and thermal pad reduced temps from 83C to 52C. A few days later I put in an upgraded CPU (i7-3770K) and temps never got above 72C. Quite impressed with the product.Plastic film a bit difficult to remove, found it slightly easier if chilled in the fridge.

Sticks well
Sticks well and inexpensive and less messy than tube versionPlus you know it won't go down the sides and ruin other electrical components.keeps my temps down as well. Very easy install just cut to fit size needed and stick it on.very durable.

good purchase.
It showed up fast, good quality and quantity for the money. I used to get grizzly minus 8 pads which didn't have enough performance to justify the cost. 100mm stackable pads for around $10 instead of $30 for grizzly and no noticable difference in performance. I will definitely be returning for this product. also the arctic thermal paste I was really impressed with it spreads much easier making it so that you use less and you get more compared to other major brands like corsair.

Works great for the Wii!
I saw another reviewer here say it was great for the Wii as it was the right thickness for it. I used in my Wii and everything is working pretty well, can’t complain!
