These flash units are of excellent quality. I was looking for a battery powered system that I could use on location, in order to avoid problems with trailing wires for health and safety reasons, especially as my job as a professional photographer, takes me to offices and building sites. Not only that but it helps to be independent of a mains supply.After experimenting with compact flash units on stands, not ideal, I discovered these by chance and after reading reviews, I ordered the 2 unit package, which saves around £50 on buying the two units separately and throws in a couple of white brollies and a pair of medium sized soft boxes. So very good value.I have tested the units in a typical studio set up, for Visa pictures (see picture) and the results were almost on a par with my mains powered Bowens units and the recycling time is just as fast. Not only that but these units accept all Bowens accessories such as snoots, soft boxes reflectors an beauty dishes.All in all a very good product and I will be using them next week on location. Buy with confidence.

I ordered these as I needed a second set of studio lights. I also use a bowens set which are mains powered, so thought it would be handy to have a more portable option as well.The lights themselves seem pretty solid and they're really easy to use. The quoted 700 full power flashes seems a lot and I'm yet to this. However I don't tend to need full power so I know it'll be fine for the 300-400 I'll usually need on a shoot.The flash controller feels a little more flimsy and there doesn't seem to be a way to turn that off. So to prevent it wasting its battery in transit. I have been taking it out between uses.The reason I've gone for 4 instead of 5 stars is the accessories. It would have been nice at this price point to have a case included. The bowens set i have were a little more money but they're a known brand and for that I got a decent case and stands.The softboxes are a bit of a pain in the proverbial. A weird jamming spokes into the centre hub system which you then can't easily fold down. Again the bowens came with a more umbrella type mechanism which is much easier to pack down. I guess it's cost saving. I'd rather have just had the lights for a bit less and got separate softboxes.Overall though I'd say if you need a portable flash more powerful than an off camera flash then go for these. Just don't expect a case or high quality flash modifiers.

These flash heads are well built and offer very good performance for the price they are manual control and don't offer highspeed sync but that wasn't on my list of priorities. They are great for strobing effects and for general use and are ideal for taking to clients homes.

I brought these lights to replace a Godox lamp that failed on me, I had to photograph a local football team and needed a portable light quick. My Godox would overheat if I took about 30-40 shots in a quick succession, so was hoping these would be better. I was doing a simple 1 light setup of about 40 lads in three different kits and different poses, the stated 700 shots on 1 battery was true, In fact I shot all day on one battery taking over 2500 photos and still the battery was not completely flat by the end of the shoot and no overheating problems at all. For the money I can't praise these lights highly enough and would have no hesitation in buying more.

The recipient, my son, was very pleased with this product.

Unit worked great for about 6 months,,,,, did what they were meant to do..... great for working on shoots , fantastic....... UNTIL........... one of the flashes went faulty, initially the company seemed keen to resolve it.... but they requested a video of the faulty unit..... which i put on youtube for them to see........ THEN SUDDENLY ... nothing, no response to emails, no contact, left high and dry......... Great product, but it seems they leave you out to dry when there is a problem ..... ps believe the company is dealing from China, and also the service ...

Ordered this product for a on location shoot tomorrow, so was quite pleased it arrived in time, however when I opened the second unit was surprised too see that it had already been opened as the packaging was damaged. The flash trigger battery compartment door was slightly damaged and the battery needs care when inserting it, I would normally send it back immediately but because I need too use it I’ve kept it. After testing it out all seems to work ok, but I’m a little disappointed at the thought of someone else using it first. It is a neat set of strobes, manual operation with a simple remote trigger at a reasonable price, will know just how good these lights are after shoot.

Very good quality but maximum 1/250s
