So this is not a miracle worker, BUT I have noticed improvement in a lot of my PCOS symptoms since taking this supplement.I was diagnosed with PCOS over 15 years ago and have been on different typical medication to help with symptoms but I found other issues with those, so I try to do things as naturally as possible. Unfortunately within the last 2 years or so I really neglected my health and my symptoms went out of control.I add this to my morning shakes (I personally don't care to drink it in water, tho it's not terrible.) I feel like it's helped with my food cravings and mood. I still get breakthrough issues but even a small improvement is better than nothing at this point and I do notice a difference. I think we'll have to order again to take for several months to see if it helps with my cycle as I currently haven't been on long enough to see any effects there.I would definitely recommend to others dealing with PCOS!

I'm not saying that it doesn't work because everyone's body is different but for me personally I couldn't drink it. I wanna say I drank it probably 3 times and every time after drinking this I felt like my throat was closing up so I just stopped taking it. I would recommend you talk to your doctor first to be on the safe side.

I was diagnosed with PCOS over 20 years ago. I am still taking the metformin extended release daily. I’ve been taking it for years, my big problem is I still get food cravings. About a month ago, I started taking this as a supplement in the afternoon, to help with my meal at the end of the day so that I don’t have those desires to keep eating. This supplement has helped. It hasn’t solve the problem, but it does help. I don’t know if it is a side effect of starting the supplement, but I don’t feel nearly as moody and irritable as I used to be. My husband told me a couple days ago that he appreciated my good attitude with things.This comes in a white powder with the look, feel, texture, consistency of powdered sugar. If I put it in a cup with some water and just swirl it around, it takes a little while to dissolve. If I use a spoon and stir, it takes a few seconds to dissolve. It has a mild sweet taste, that is not very noticeable, or objectionable. The directions don’t mention adding it to some type of food, it only mentions using it in water or other beverage. Even though it comes in a jar, I like that the jar is compact, with not a lot of extra air space. There is a freshness seal on the inside of the jar, I left it partially attached on the one end, so that I can use it to level the measuring scoop.I am taking one measured dose about every other day, with the measuring spoon provided, and it really is a small amount. I do take some other medication’s that can cause nausea, and I have noticed that if I take this supplement later in the evening, I do have a little bit more nausea the next morning. I cannot comment on its ability to regulate menstrual cycles, because the endocrinologist put me on birth control 4 years ago to help with my hormones.The jar states that it is manufactured in Canada.There are cautions and warning labels on the jar, that are not mentioned in the product description. This seems like a high quality myo-inositol supplement. It mixes well in water, and doesn't taste bad. However, it was very hard on my system — after a few days of use, I began to feel tired, and after a week or two, I was feeling exhausted and didn't want to take anymore. I'm not sure what it is about myo-inositol supplements that my body doesn't like or if anyone else has had this problem (I've had this issue with other myo-inositol supplements); it might have something to do with leaky gut issues or other digestive stresses.With other supplements, I have kept taking them until it seemed like my body tolerated them all right, but I didn't make it that far with this one. It's too bad, because I was looking forward to seeing if a higher quality supplement would help with hormonal balance. If you can tolerate it, it seems like a good value for a quality month's supply.

I haven't noticed any harsh side effects but I did notice that a lot of my symptoms have lightened up a lot since taking this. I am really happy with this product and it has enough to last you for awhile. The price is also reasonable and makes it easy for me to continue to buy this.
