My skin colour is ‘caramel’ according to Maybelline. And the darkest, contour shade in this palette works perfectly. You don’t need to keep layering it on for the pigment to show. You can also use all the shades in this contour palette for eyeshadow as well. This palette is not strictly for contour. You can use it as bronzer and eyeshadow. The palette is also small enough to fit in your makeup bag, but there’s a lot of product in the pans. I used my other palette for over a year and it still wasn’t finished. I lost it, hence why I had to re-buy. I also have oily skin so the powder is better than a cream contour. This product is a cheaper alternative to other more expensive brands. It also includes a highlighter and blush too. But I personally use those shades for eyeshadow instead and I prefer a more reddish blush and no highlight. The tone of the highlighter is great for warm skin, and I love that it doesn't have obvious specks of shimmer in it.The blusher is also a shimmer/metallic. The brown colour is great applied lightly, and I guess would make a nice shimmer bronzer if applied with a *very* light hand to warm up the skin and look like a golden tan.
