Updated review to correct mistakes made by me
Update: As said previously by myself and others, these are for v-short scale 6 string basses. However, when using them to re-string my vintage short scale Jedson 4 string bass I made a mistake. I had assumed these strings were for a barritone guitar and were for guitar tuning EADGBE and so I used the bottom 4 strings. In fact these are for v-short scale basses and are for tuning BEADGC. So to rectify my tuning problems with what I thought was my E string I will get another set of these and instead use strings 2 to 5 i.e EADG.These packages are mislabeled by EB but so long as you know they are guitar scale with small ball-ends then they are perfect for the job they are intended for. They will not fit your full scale 6-string bass as they are actually a set of heavy strings for a barritone guitar.I actually used these on a 1973, 3/4 scale Jedson Telebass. I used the bottom 4 strings (E, A, D & G) and they fit really well.So if you want to re-string a very short scale bass such as the Ibanez Mikro then these are fine. But really these are for barritone players.

Best Baritone strings
Originally bought the purple 6-string Baritone set, these being the better of the two. Lightest string is textured (w = wound) meaning every string has some feel to them in playing, very good. I play a Tele short scale bass vi for ref.

JUST fit.
Anyone with the Subzero Rogue VI. These strings will fit but the .74 is ALMOST too short. It goes on with barely a wind to spare but it will indeed fit and it seems to hold the tuning so I'll take it. The rest of the strings have room to spare so you should be good to go.EB - Please make the .74 just a bit longer and these will be perfect!

Excellent
Used for short scale bass. Excellent. So easy to play, sound great.

Good tension on the lowest; 5th string barely long enough
I like the 90 on my Bass VI, as I found the 12-84 from Daddario to be too thin. Nice balanced set for my taste. However, the 74 here is barely long enough and the string is much shorter than the others (My bass VI has a reversed headstock and string through body)

They don’t fit on a 30 inch scale baritone guitar literally pointless
All you metal heads stay far away these strings just don’t fit

Read the reviews before buying
Strings are too short PERIOD! The .90,.30 and the .20w are too short for the bass VI which claims they are used for.
