Mr Beams High Performance Wireless Battery Powered Motion Sensing LED Dual Head Security Spotlight, Plastic, White, 500 lm

I bought this approximately a year ago and placed it between my house and my garage, opposite a side door into my house. It works brilliantly for when I arrive home and need to see which key to use, or if I'm heading out with bins etc, especially with the dark nights now upon us. Motion sensor works well and picks movement up from around 15 ft away (light placed approx 8 ft from the ground). The unit provides a good amount of light for visibility in an alleyway (between house/garage) but not sure if it would be sufficient for anything bigger than a small garden, as the light wouldn't be strong enough to deter. I placed batteries in the unit when I installed it and haven't needed to replace them yet, despite it triggering several times a day for a year. One piece of advice; the PIR sensor can be triggered by the steam/exhaust fumes from your boiler flu as it condenses on cold evenings, so try and not place it near the exhaust of your boiler! I found this out the hard way and decided to move it to reduce false triggering. Luckily its very easy to mount - so additional points there! Overall, would highly recommend for areas needing lit up for brief period of time.

This was really easy to install and is surprisingly bright for a battery powered unit. Needed a light for the side of my house for taking bins out and walking the dog (I tend to walk him when it's dark as he's unpredictable) I chose it because I didn't want a huge halogen that when it went off wouldn't wake up the neighbours or every sleeping bird. Obviously not as bright as mains power but this absolutely does the job. Quick to light up and goes off promptly after detecting no movement which was another important fact. Not sure how this would work with another Mr Beams unit but might buy another for front of house in the future

Great outdoor lighting. Really easy to install. Looks good too. Such a game changer that you dont have to hook it up to the mains. Ive installed mine by the patio and it really bright when it goes off I can see all the way up my garden path to my garage

used as a sensor light for back garden at night, attached to fence facing gate. Sensor was being easily triggered from all areas (including from kitchen) however slight movement of one of the lights resolved this. No issues with brightness, ideal for taking bin bags out and getting back in door. Main issue is the 20 second timer, if this had scope to be extended to a minute or so this would be a 5 star product. It has saved me from arranging an electrician to install a more powerful sensor light and was very easy to install, worth the money, i just wish the light stayed on a little longer.

Bought this item a few years ago. Works really well. The batteries have lasted for over a year. Would buy again.

Have had one previous and this one is identical in quality and performance. Feels robust when handling and sturdy once in place. Batteries on my itger one have been in for over 18 months now and still going strong. Whole heartedly recommend.

Very easy to install, delivers a good amount of light, goes off after 20 seconds of no movement. Great for seeing in the garden at night to let dogs out to toilet. Cannot comment on battery life at the moment as only had them for a couple of weeks, but so far, so good.

Mechanik und Helligkeit sehr gut. Zur Schreckbeleuchtung gut geeignet. "Leider" sitze ich im Sommer auch mal abends auf meiner Terrasse - da hätte ich die Beleuchtung gerne ausgeschaltet. Dazu müsste ich aber das ganze Gehäuse auseinandernehmen und die Batterien entfernen. Es fehlt der Ausschalter.

Wie erwartet. Helles Licht, einfache Montage

Die Lampe macht was sie soll, erkennt Bewegung, schaltet und macht Licht, Empfindlichkeiten und Beleuchtungsdauer nicht einstellbar., die Werkseinstellung sind aber i.O. Aber 1 * Abzug wg. der Befestigungsplatte, das Gehäuse kann nur in eine Richtung eingeschoben werden - also aufpassen wo man sie befestigen möchte, nochmal 1 * Abzug weil es für diesen Preis sicherlich möglich gewesen wäre, diese via USB aufzuladen - wir leben im Jahr 2019 !!! , mal sehen wie lange die 4 x Varta D Boliden im Gehäuse halten.... ( nochmal 10 € zusätzlich an Kosten ...) 14.04.2020 - nochmal 2 * Abzug, denn die monatlichen Batteriekosten i. H. v. 10€ ( 120€ im Jahr) sind einfach unterirdisch, selbst für 2 x LEDs muss 4 x D / Monat berücksichtigt werden.

ci vuole più tempo a fare i fori nel muro che tutto il resto. tutto semplicissimo, il funzionamento è ok ed il fatto di poter orientare i faretti è un gran valore aggiunto. la luminosità per un box entro i 20 mq è soddisfacente ma non elevata.
