Nice working model
Nice instructional model. Easy enough for an incompetent older guy (me) to put together.Not the most accurate in use, but I suppose that goes with the design.We’re going to use it as a game in a small festival and it nicely matches the Leonardo catapult from the same makers.Should be a fun time.

Great fun, and fires a long way
I bought this for my son and I, and because it is by far the superior siege engine. I put it together, as it's fairly tricky, but took the precaution of drilling through some of the joins and putting cross-dowels through the joins, giving it extra strength. We gave it a go in the summer, and it fired the little clay balls 7-8m, which is way further than they say on the package, but then I did put quite a bit of metal in the basket. Really good fun to play with on a summer's day :)

This was bought for my 8 year old nephew as an introduction to the mechanical principals as designed by Mr DaVinci. Flinging projectiles will never get boring amongst the young ones.
