Nespresso OriginalLine: Ristretto, 100 Count - ''NOT compatible with Vertuoline''

I just made my third purchase of the Nespresso OriginalLine: Ristretto. Before, and after, the first time I ordered this, I tried some other brands that cost less. Cheap is cheap, that's what I say. This is completely worth the extra pennies per serving. The froth on top, the clean finish, the perfect intensity to get my day off to a great start, makes this the only coffee I will buy for my Nespresso.

Compared to national branded store-bought coffees, these are a quarter of the cost and almost a buck a piece for each pod gets you a great shot of coffee so it is certainly worth it. The Crema is full-bodied, the coffee tastes great, and the pods are convenient. I took one apart trying to re-use the aluminum casing and noticed there was a small filter under the foil lid, which I'm not sure is for additional water filtration or to enhance the crema. Whatever it's for, it works. I've not been able to get the same quality of coffee with a re-used pod, using the identical coffee, that can be had with the new pod.

My husband's favorite flavor. I'm not a daily coffee drinker so I tend to have an espresso shot here and there but my husband uses five daily for his coffee which is how he orders it from Starbucks which can make it pricey but save a trip to Starbucks. Very nice, strong flavor.

While you will pay more for Nespresso brand pods, the coffee is superior to any of the other aftermarket ones I've tried. The Ristretto is bold and robust. I use two of these to make my morning coffee and you can make it long by running a little extra water through a second time. It also makes a superior espresso if that's all you want. All with much less mess than grinding beans and packing.

Love these. Of all the mid to dark roasts/blends, this is my favorite. It’s well balanced and tasty without being too strong.

I have been disappointed with the espresso coffees from Keurig although a number of their blends do well for everyday coffee. I received a Nespresso machine as a gift and tried the sample packs that came with it. The Ristretto has been the closet coffee to real espresso coming from a home machine. It also allows me to make Cuban Coffee for my retail customers and friends. Not Pilon or Bustello but a good substitute for a fast cup. The 100 count box saves a little money but the coffee is still too overpriced as far as I'm concerned. I will keep buying it until I can find a used commercial espresso machine.

I can't wait to have my coffee every morning. A different flavor every day. Consistent very high quality espresso, equal if not better than expensive coffee houses. A well designed, little workhorse of an appliance, I have no buyers remorse.

This coffee is wonderful, but as others have said, the price is much higher than if you order from Nespresso. I had a gift card so this time the price didn't really matter, I considered it a gift, but at those prices it just isn't cost effective to be a repeat customer. That said, I did receive exactly what I ordered and very quickly and well packaged. Thank you!

High recommend coffee!

Tried various other cheaper capsules for our Nespresso machine, but none of them work as well or taste as good. Thought our machine was wearing out so switched back to these and it's fine. Worth the extra cost - far better taste.

This was a present for my Brother in law, he was very happy. Would recommend this product to anyone who loves their coffee!

It was bought as a Christmas present and my friend loved it and used it all over Christmas. Would buy again.
