Great deal.
I was able to get this on sale for 100 bucks. I was actually shocked at how good it sounds. Used these to replace the head unit and speakers in my pontoon.I'm a bit of an audiophile, having spent years messing with car audio, and more recently, home audio. I have many high end speakers in my home and know what quality sounds like. These things have some very good, punchy bass. I was shocked. Head unit is basic, but covers the necessities. Very happy with this purchase.

It almost does the job.
It's nothing that will surprise you. It's not very loud. It's cheap and will provide a stereo with bluetooth. One month update: It needs an amp. I bought one even though I don't usually. It wasn't loud enough to hear over my stock engine.

Works great for a golf cart
The media could not be loaded. My install is a bit out of the norm, but I installed this system in a golf cart. Bout a custom roof enclosure, which I then adapted to my Yamaha G29 Drive golf cart. The installation was pretty straight forward. Instructions were good enough to understand. The included mounting parts, aside from the mounting screws for the radio, which the heads were too big, worked fine. There were foam gaskets for the speakers and the radio. Made it fit snug and well. Ended up having some screws that worked fine for the radio since given how I installed it, they needed nuts on the back.Aesthetically the speakers look nice and seem to be resistant to water. The radio is pretty basic control wise, but gets the job done fine. I do wish it would disconnect the Bluetooth when you push the power button off, but it does not. The radio portion works fine but does need an antenna to tune in channels, as would be expected.Sound was surprisingly clear and clean quality, ok bass for speaker size. I plan on adding a sub sometime soon to fill in the gaps.Another suggestion is to buy a USB/aux port surface mount extension to put in your dash. Will make plugging in a USB stick or your non Bluetooth device easier .All in all a good purchase for my needs

Didn't work
Tried hooking this up every which way. And got absolutely no power to the radio. Skip and find something better.

Good value, slightly misleading power numbers
This isn't the MB Quart of old. The brand is now owned by a conglomerate and it's value line Chinese stuff. It's fine for the money but don't expect anything audiophile like the brand was previously associated with.I like both the speakers and head unit. The head unit is simple and has what we all really need in a head unit, Bluetooth and USB inputs. I also really like that it's IPX5 rated, so it can handle the splashes that are likely to be encountered on a boat. The old unit I was replacing from the previous owner was a car receiver and it was pretty corroded and nasty, so I really appreciate it being a true marine rated unit. The speakers are fine too, not audiophile but plenty good for relaxing out on the water. This is coming from someone who spends a fair amount on audio equipment overall. They're good enough that I feel like if I were to spend 10x the cost of them to upgrade them, while the upgrade would sound better, it wouldn't be worth all the extra money.Installation was really simple, no different than any other speakers or head units I've installed in the past. One benefit of the head unit being fairly simple is that there's less wires to hook up.The one issue I have with this stuff is the misleading power figures they plaster all over the place. 160 watts is plastered all over it. In actuality, the speakers are rated at 40 watts RMS each and the head unit output is 16 watts RMS per channel. Note that the head unit output isn't tested to CTA-2006 standard, so it's likely lower that the 16 watts claimed.Realizing this, I didn't even bother with the head unit speaker outputs and instead opted for an external amplifier. I can say that the speakers are able to handle 70 watts RMS from my amp no problem. It's a high quality amp and likely a bit underrated and putting out even more power than that. No issues with the speakers at all even after some pretty long days out on the lake.Overall, really good value but have realistic expectations.

Pretty decent sounding setup
I've used MBQuart in car stereos before, and their quality was always fantastic... but that was on the higher end of their line. These speakers in this setup are NOT comparable to the ones that I've had before- but also cost FAR less. What lured me into this kit is my need for a setup in a car I'm restoring. It only needs to be simple and sound decent- not looking for audiophile setup. The head unit is super simple and no extra blingy flashy things that are truly annoying in most aftermarket head units. I don't want multicolored flashing lights from a StarWars movie set in the dashboard of my vintage roadster. The head unit is also about half the depth of most- so it can fit easily and not be a challenge to a crowded console or dashboard. The power seems adequate to me, although I may consider adding a powered sub for when the top is down. The speakers are warm and clear, with the crispness that MBQuart is known for. Don't look at the brand name and think you're getting the MBQ sound from their $300+ speakers... these are on par with most other name brand speakers in the sub $150 range, like the Polk dB series. In all, I can't imagine you'd EVER find a kit in this price range that will outperform this... and if you want a head unit that doesn't look silly with tons of dancing light garbage- this one is for you. Simple, elegant and blends in.

Easy to install, sounds good, AM/FM needs an antenna
I installed this setup in a cargo/camper trailer. The system was easy in install and the amp draw low enough to run on my solar system during the day. The system sounds pretty considering no seperate amps or subs and I don't have to worry about moisture as the speakers are waterproof. The Bluetooth option works great, AM/FM reception is terrible though, you will want to get an antenna if that matters to you.
