Brilliant - really helped baby to latch on
I have never written a review before but felt that I must for this product. I was unable to breast feed my first son - my nipples were slightly inverted and he struggled to latch on. After a couple of weeks of stress and frustration I turned to bottles.Second time around, I wanted to try again and researched the Lanisoh nipple assist. I used it in the hospital and even some of the midwifes hadn't seen them & thought they were a great idea. The product is extremely simple to use, small & discreet and gave me the confidence to keep trying. I was successful and even found that after about a week, I didn't need to use the latch assist any more as my nipples were 'doing the job' themselves!Highly recommend this to anyone who is struggling to breastfeed.

Perfect, and a good little bit of kit
I think this is great! You dont know how you will be and to take the stress out of breast feeding, at least if you have this in your hospital bag you know there is one less thing to worry about! Very strong suction and the little box it comes in is great for hygiene.Recommended! Doesnt break the bank, but may be the difference between managing to breastfeed and not!

Useful device in tricky breastfeeding situation
Good and useful device for flat and inverted nipple, a bit fiddly for new mums but manageable to get baby on the breast and then things get better..Annette

ordered just in case
I ordered this in case of need as didn't want to be sending the husband out in the middle of the night if any problems, arrived promptly, also Lansinoh breast pads and nipple cream are the best I've used.

Very Useful Breastfeeding Assistant!
I used this for a week or so while feeding my daughter. I tried other methods of helping her latch to my flat nipple but this was by far the best thing I used! I wish I had used it right from the start as it made it so much easier for her to latch on. I used it for a week or so and now the nipple is much improved and I don't have to use anything at all. The only problem is the bulb can get filled with water / milk so be careful when using / cleaning other than that really good product that I will recommend to other breastfeeding mums.

Didn't work for me
For any woman struggling to get a baby to latch on then I recommend getting a breast pump, even if it's just a cheap one. It helps bring out the nipples way more than this latch assist, it makes your nipples stronger too so breast feeding isn't painful. This lansinoh latch assist was a waste of money for me.

Didn't work for me
I tried this out for a couple of weeks, starting from the day my milk came in. It would pull out the nipple significantly, but by the time i would get my fussy newborn with flailing arms under control and on target, the nipple would have sunk back in again. I had expected the effect to last more than 1 minute. My baby was extremely fussy though, if you don't have to deal with trying to hold their arms back and can latch them on straight away, it can work. Or perhaps I just needed more practice.

Great product!
This is a great product! Not as discreet as they say but still very effective.I have flat nipples and they have really helped me to be able to achieve a good nipple shape for feeding my daughter. The shape is temporary so I have to wear them all the time but still very good!
