I've used many of irons while sewing and I will say that this particular one has been very useful and I love it so far. The steam put out is very even, it warms up pretty fast and the attached water tank makes it easier to reserve more space than my hanging boiler irons.

I loved this iron when purchased. I sew a LOT of things for a LOT of people. Until today, I had zero problems with it, even with no ability to adjust the temp, for exactly one year. Has never lit up on the side so I have no clue what those icons are for. it has sat on the giant ironing table for a year, never moved to another location, added water religiously, got incredible steam all the time. Today, I plug it in, press the button, and ever since, water is just pouring out of ALL HOLES on the iron AND and out of the BASE all over the table and floor! No one has touched it but me! I cannot afford to buy a new iron every year and I NEED one with the large water capacity. This is unacceptable, especially when my previous two irons lasted for 20 years. If you want something to last, DO NOT BUY this one.

So, I just got my new Sundu Iron today, I’m only giving this 4 stars.. now don’t let this sway u from buying this iron.. please read on… so I’ve had another brand of iron station which I absolutely loved.. I bought mine for probably about 250-275 then they went up to like 400.00 then went down again.. in price… and it just recently decided to mess up on me so I can’t use it .. so this time around I thought I would go for something a bit cheaper.. of course this one wasn’t much cheaper but it was cheaper.. so with that said, should I have spent the extra 20-50.00 and bought the other one … probably so… but if u are a person that would go to your local store and buy a 30.00 iron… then this iron is definitely for u!! Spend the extra money and get an iron like this or get this one for that matter!! Once u buy an iron station u will never want another iron from your local store again!! So with that said, I’m giving this a 4 star because it’s lightweight which in my opinion is a little cheaper made being that the other one I had was seriously heavy and bulky… now , it is much quicker to steam which is fabulous!! My other one I had to sometimes wait 2-3 min for it to heat up, but this iron is awesome it heats up in seconds! And u will want to be really careful not to grab it right when it’s ready , the steam will burn u!!🔥 But give it 10-15 second pick it up and ur ready to iron!! And there’s a slight annoying noise that it makes…. Not sure if this is normal or a flaw.. but it makes a knocking noise.. as u can hear in the video I did… that’s why I’m giving it a 4 star.. but it works really well.. I’m pleased with this iron.. steams really well!! We even ironed a dress hanging on the hanger and did beautifully!! So… this is a good iron… could u spend more money and buy a better one… yes… but this one does the job!! Whether it’s heavy or light doesn’t really matter as long as it irons and does what I need it to and it has some serious steam I’m good!! 👍🏻👍🏻 and a plus … u can pull the water tank out and fill it up!! See, I couldn’t do that with my other one! So that a ➕.. so go buy this iron!! U won’t regret it!!!Update: one more thing I’m not fond of it will not stand up by itself.. therefore when ironing u either have to hold the iron or lay it down flat on ironing board risking burning.. or set it back on the station.. don’t like that!!!

I like the ease of use.

I've had this just a month and it has already started blowing out brown goo on the fabric being ironed. I've cleaned it with vinegar but still the same issue. Not at all worth the money.The seller graciously issued me a full refund even though the 30 day return period had expired.

The media could not be loaded. Makes tons of noise and water poured out everywhere on my ironing board and had to shut it off to stop the water. No it’s not overfilled. The lights on the side plates don’t work at all! And the directions suck with no videos out there to help. It was dangerous how it poured out hot water on me. Sending it back.

I really didn't know how this worked, but I was in the market for a new iron, and this looked pretty cool. It did work, and there's a lot of steam, but the resovior is giantic and takes up a lot of space on the ironing board, so I find it kind of inconvenient to use compared to a regular iron. It does work well as a fabric steamer, but I already have one of those, and it wasn't quite as expensive.The printed plate makes it look like there are lots more steam holes than there are. There aren't any around the point, they're all concertrated in the middle. so again, not super convenient for ironing, but great as a fabric steamer.Overall, for the price, I am going to stick with a nice iron, and haul this thing out when we're preparing for a formal event and need to steam things.
