I’m very selective as to what products I allow to enter my “holy-grail” list. This has earned its spot for the following reasons: 1. Formulated with ceramide precursors (like lecithin and fatty alcohols), barrier-repairing fatty acids, panthenol, and antioxidant support to help restore and maintain the skin’s lipid barrier—designed to mimic the optimal 3:1:1 ratio of ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids found in healthy skin. (Pairs beautifully with lipid-rich serums like KraveBeauty’s Oil La La if you prefer a more nourishing oil layer with antioxidant and barrier support.) 2. Uses encapsulated peptide technology to effectively deliver peptides no matter what serums you combine it with. It also eliminates the need for a separate expensive peptide serum to stimulate collagen. 3. Is acne-safe with no pore-clogging ingredients. Rosehip oil is a great source of linoleic acid, which can help soften sebum and reduce the appearance of sebaceous filaments over time. (That said, those actively dealing with fungal acne may want to patch test first due to the inclusion of oils that may feed the yeast that flares fungal acne.) 4. Good for both oily and dry days. (If you really need a richer cream and you’re not prone to clogged pores, Dieux Instant Angel may be a more suitable choice for extra dry skin.) 5. The price is so reasonable for the amount of science that went into this. The quality is unmatched. I think this is the best moisturizer on the market for this reason. It out competes skinceuticals triple lipid in terms of the anti-aging benefits. 6. Makes your skin texture smooth by making your barrier strong. This is important to me since I don’t always want acids to smooth out my skin. Conclusion: if you value science-backed formulas that are proven to give you results and prevent damage, this is for you. It’s fragrance free but smells pharmaceutical of like a Cerave product. I actually like the smell. I can confidently recommend this product to any person if they want to scientifically prevent signs of aging and barrier damage. Love it.

Stratia's Interface and Lipid Gold are excellent on their own, but they’re my ultimate moisturizer combo when mixed together. I follow the "egg" method described on Stratia's site - two pumps of Interface with a dollop of Lipid Gold in the center - then blend them with my fingertips, and apply to my face. The texture feels lightweight, and it absorbs quickly, but it's also deeply hydrating and calming. This pairing completely turned my skin around during a period of severe dryness, redness, and hormonal breakouts. The combination is super hydrating, barrier restoring, and soothing, keeping my skin balanced from morning until I wash my face at night. Before bed I reapply, adding in a bit of retinol, and it has really saved my skin. Both formulas are fragrance-free and gentle, though Lipid Gold has a faint, natural seed oil scent that reminds me of toasted sesame oil. Even that scent is subtle and disappears quickly after application, though. In my 20s, Lipid Gold made my skin breakout, but in my 30s, when my skin is drier and more hormonal, it is a perfect addition to Interface and actually prevents my breakouts (go figure). I appreciate the hygienic packaging as well. The airless pump keeps the formula fresh, and the frosted Lipid Gold bottle lets me see how much is left (something I wish Interface had; I can't tell when I'm about to run out of Interface).

I am on my second bottle of this. Have been using it daily since September of 2025. I noticed pretty quickly within about 3 days that my skin was plumper and firmer with the lines on my forehead lessening. This never causes breakouts and it works VERY well with makeup. I’ve tried it with so many different serums and products with zero issues. I get compliments on my skin when I just use this and a sunscreen over the top. Definitely a repurchase for me!

I’ve tried lots of peptide serums and moisturizers, the Interface is by far the best I’ve experienced. Feels great on my skin and easily absorbs. I saw a tightening and reduction of fine lines and wrinkles within a week of daily use!

It’s nice, but not quite moisturizing for my menopausal skin. But wasn’t at all irritating, and felt nice. Would be great for so many out there, I definitely encourage anyone to give it a try
