Pieces look stunning, and all pieces arrived in mint condition. All the pieces feel heavy except for the pawn, which weighed 22g. Difference in queens was 0.75g, the heaviest was 51g. Surprisingly the kings only weigh 49g. The white is very suiting. They're not too bright or too beige. Worth every penny.

Good weight, steady pieces. Stable base.They could do better with the clarity of the pieces. Needs little sharpness or definition to the pieces and better paint finishOverall it's good.

Last year I purchased the XL Best Chess Set Ever (BCSE) with 4 1/4"King, vinyl board set. The pieces are excellent and receive endless compliments at the local chess club. This year I noticed BCSE was offering the larger 4X pieces at an unbelievable affordable price. For the price you will not be disappointed. I use them with my board that has 2 1/4" squares. The pieces are probably slightly to large for my chess board, but who cares!! They look fantastic, feel great in your hand and are weighted perfectly.

Heavy, tall, feel great to use. Owned several chess sets and these are probably the nicest I've ever had. Only downside was I did receive a set sans the spare the black queen but contacted the seller and they promptly sent the missing piece.

I hoped that these would be as described but they're not. They're even nicer!!!! Both the size and the weight are perfect. The color/finish is really nice too. And to top it off the price is right too. If you're looking for chest pieces in this size, you won't be disappointed.

Don't get me wrong - these are beautiful chess pieces but they are not Quadruple weighted as advertised by the seller. At most, these chess pieces are only triple weighted only. I have a good collection of chess pieces/sets (both wood and plastic, cheap and/or expensive) and I know what triple weighted is. If these were Quadruple weighted, I would have given these chess pieces Five Stars. By the way, if the seller/manufacturer is reading this review the top of one of the Queen's crown is missing.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased the triple weighted ones. They are stunning with no plastic mold lines. We love them!

As expected. As good a plastic set as I've seen. Large heavy pieces too. Make sure you get the right size board !
