Absolutely love this product! I wanted to wait a good couple of months before writing my review to see how my face would react. I have dry, extremely sensitive, breakout prone skin. I have not found a single moisturizer that doesn’t still leave my forehead flakey despite exfoliating or make me breakout. I started using Vanicream due to my sensitive skin, but even that wasn’t hydrating enough. I now add one drop of this to my lotion in the morning and evening and apply after washing my face. No more flakey skin and my face feels very soft. I have seen other reviews that say it’s sticky or that it doesn’t work well under makeup. If it’s sticky, you’re using too much. Until I figured out the perfect combo for my skin it would happen to me too. Less is more in this case. You don’t need anymore than a tiny drop to get the benefits. If I apply my foundation right after using the product I find it goes on well, but if I try to apply my makeup later in the day the foundation looks cakey on my forehead. Another option is to not use it when applying makeup, only apply at night. This product has become a holy grail for me and I will continue to use it. I put a blend of oil on my face (argan, primrose evening, jojoba, rosehip) and then I use this on top of that. My skin looks sooooo good now. It’s clear and looks moisturized and gives that clean girl look. My face is regularly normal without any product on, but if I wear makeup it dries me out too much and makes the makeup look dry. So I put the oil and this and let it dry for a few mins and then apply makeup on top. It’s the best. It doesn’t burn me or damage my sensitive skin at all. I’m editing this to mention, I used to buy products with ceramide in it or moisturizers but literally every single one is full of toxic chemicals and petroleum. I even used to buy cleansers and they’d burn me. Now I use a AHA BHA face wash with all natural ingredients from Etsy. This one is ceramide almost at the purest form and with healthy ingredients. My routine used to be cleanser, toner, serum, and moisturizer, now I don’t even need the moisturizer because this far exceeds any moisturizer. I wear it maybe 3x a week whenever I go out and wear makeup and once a week I do cleanser, serum, and this ceramide all night and then a cleanser in the morning. I’m 30 and always get told they think I’m 17 or 18. It creates a great elasticity to the face and gives that clean girl look too. It’s going to be my holy grail product. I’ll be devastated if it ever gets discontinued.

This is my 4th time buying this and it’s my holy grail. It strengthens the skin barrier, keeps it hydrated, moisturized, plump and glowing. My skin is able to tolerate tretinoin so much better. I don’t get dry flakes from the tret anymore. I mix a generous drop of it with my moisturizer. I notice if I have an active pimple it heals faster too

I add this to my moisturizer for additional hydration when needed. It's one ingredient, which I love, that can make any moisturizer or serum feel somuch more hydrating with one single drop (that's drop, not dropper). You cannot beat the value of this item for the cost... It's 100% effective and priced right. I love that this line is one ingredient that you can use to customize your existing skincare. l will continue to use this and others I have tried in the line.

i’m not sure about the effectiveness of keeping hydration, everything about this tells me it’s not a real ceramide. first it’s like a thick oil, like almond oil. it tastes sweet?? it leaves my skin feeling very greasy. it feels very heavy on my face. i’ve used it on my cuticles a few times and it doesn’t make them any less dry.

I use it to make homemade tallow face cream. It makes it a nice consistency.
