DOLLS 2013 Pattern Book

The 2013 DOLLS Pattern Book features designs for 10, 15-1/2, and 16-inch fashion dolls, as well as 14-inch Girl dolls. The designs can be easily adapted--limited only by your imagination. Clear pattern designs and instructions. A great reference piece.

Outfits are unique. Love that the pattern pieces are printed right in the book. Printing is dark enough for tracing the patterns. Some of the instructions are small print though.

I already had most of the patterns included since many are available online for free. I did get a missing piece from a pattern and I primarily purchased for Gene Marshall, although I am considering purchasing Ellowyne Wilde since more are becoming available even with a different body. Most fashion doll patterns are easy to adjust for different dolls as measurements can be taken or found online.

You do need some sewing and knowledge of reading and understanding pattern directions. I love the detail of the patterns. I have not tried any yet. Stay tuned.

Patterns for OOAK Dolls as well, very nice styles

I may not have read the description completely, or thoroughly, so I was a bit surprised to find that several of the patterns are sized for dolls I don't have, there by potentially making those patterns useless, or at least, needing adjustments in order to fit a doll I may have... That being said, there are some pretty patterns, and even an outfit for a male doll, I believe he is the complement to Ellowyne... I will copy all of the patterns on a copy machine and then cut them out for use, as is my process which leaves the originals intact in the book... And at some point sew them up and see which of my dolls can wear the outfits. I would probably recommend the purchase if you collect dolls and sew for them. You know this is a hobby where collecting patterns that may need altering is often the case, and part of making outfits for our beautiful dolls. Or, better, finding out about a new line of dolls, and hunting one down to add to the collection... Urban Vita anyone?
