Can it be plugged in and used in a car

Hi yes it can be used in a car, I used a usb to 4mm power supply and a 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo jacl. But if you use an external power source when the power goes off it does not automatically power back on. What you need to do is press the play/pause button to get it power up and resume from where it left off

does it have mains powered facility?

There is a 4mm external power socket on the unit - There are various options to power this up externallyYou can use a 5V USB to 4mm Barrel Jack Plug Male DC Power socket, or a 5V Adaptor 4mm Ø Connector (AC Mains to 5 Volt DC - UK Plug)

Does this have auto stop when the CD has finished

Yes, it does stop at end of CD. Also if you stop it mid way it will start at point of stop, it does not return to beginning, very helpful

can it be clipped to a belt for portability?

Would need to be in a bag as no clip on player
