Stability and quality
Cost a little more than I had originally wanted to spend but I must admit the extra money spent was well worth it. Very comfortable on and doesn't feel bulky inside the shoe. Gives great support and extra stability I could not recommend this ankle brace highly enough. I've weak ankles so would be very prone to falling but I can honestly say I have been using this for quite a while now and haven't fallen once.

Best in class
Fractured ankle and torn ligaments.I tried the hospital support and multiple other bandage types that I purchased and this by far offers the most support for a fractured ankle or torn ligaments. In fact it if offers so much support and confidence that I'm reluctant to stop wearing it even 3 months after I feel healed.Do not hesitate, dont complain about the cost as the money is nothing compared to confidence with walking again during recovery and asissted recovery that it provides.Im a size 9.5 and a medium is a litte tight which I like at times and a large fits well all the time so I'd suggest buying both and being secure. Do not hesitate, I have bought several others and wasted my my money, this is the gold standard for support whilst recovering.

Using the Aircast A60 to support my ankle through the worst of my recovery and then later only when training ...
Having nastily sprained my ankle six weeks before taking part in my first Tough Mudder I'd been afraid I either wouldn't be able to take part or would injure myself thanks to my weakened ankle and the rough terrain I knew the course would offer. Using the Aircast A60 to support my ankle through the worst of my recovery and then later only when training meant that I was able to protect my ankle and take part as planned. On the big day I decided I would go ahead and wear the A60 for the Tough Mudder itself. It did its job perfectly and did protect me when I felt myself slip on a couple of occasions. It has even been through the washing machine twice (to get rid of the Tough Mudder's tough mud) and come out perfectly unscathed.Unlike others who have posted I've not experienced any quality problems with my Aircast ankle brace.I would say that it is important you take time to adjust it carefully when you put it on each time. If you over-tighten it you will find it becomes uncomfortable and if you under-tighten it you will not get the support you need. Once you have worked out what is right for you though it is comfortable to wear even for extended periods and in tough conditions. I can honestly say that it is sufficiently comfortable I totally forgot I was wearing it for my Tough Mudder event. Do take the time to wear it in though, and wear longer socks than usual to stop it from rubbing on your leg.

Somm
The second one I have purchased. Transformational for my severely arthritic ankle. Enables me to lead a more or less normal life.

Very little support
I ordered this support as a replacement for a brace supplied through the NHS. I have long term ligament damage which has led to the onset of arthritis. I read the reviews and description and thought this would be a good replacement offering the same support but easier to fit and more comfortable than the NHS support. Having received the brace I tried wearing it having read the instructions and even watched a few videos. No matter how I fitted it there was very minimal support, my ankle was still able to rock side to side and didn’t offer the required support. It may offer some support to prevent injury during sport to stop the ankle turning right over.

Excellent value
For a expensive outlay these ankle braces are excellent, comfortable and well made they hold the ankle securely

No good for distance running
This is a very sturdy support but I found it very uncomfortable. The spines run to the bottom of the foot so whilst it was supporting my ankle, it was putting pressure on the sole which became unbearable. I must say that I purchased this for fell running so I did use it over a five mile - all terrain - distance. I can see how it would be of use when playing tennis but it's no good to me for distance running.

Not great, could be better.
The 'sock' material is not good quality for the price. Not a great fitting so pain is generated on the outside of my leg above the ankle by the stabiliser.
