I used these as paint mixers for my Scale75, Golden, and Vallejo paints after realizing the "stainless steel" ball bearings I'd been using were rusting on the bottoms of the paint bottles. These fit into the smaller 17ml bottles without forcing them, and they seem to work ok, but they're a little lighter than I was hoping. Still, they seem to be working so 5 stars.

I bought these to throw in Citadel, Vallejo and Army Painter paints to help with mixing. They've worked really well and saved me the stress of adding metal balls of questionable composition to my paints. Well worth the small investment and I highly recommend for this purpose.

These are perfect to use as mixing beads for paint/nailpolish. No more questionable metal beads that may or may not rust/tarnish over time and mess up my paint.

They were perfect to fill small votive holders to raise tee lights in them

the beads are a good size and work well. the packaging is a press and seal bag that was neither pressed nor sealed so the beads went everywhere.

I loved that these were all in a zipper bag to keep them together. The balls all have great clarity, there were a few cracked, but that is to be expected when shipping to Alaska.

I haven't used these a ton but for the few times I have used them, they've done exactly what I was expecting them to: prevent bumping.

I have only used these as boiling chips so far but I expect they will work when employed as column packing too.

If you don't want to drop cash on expensive brand-name metal ball paint mixers but don't want to worry about corrosion and rusting ruining your paint, this one's for you. I got these 6mm ones and they work great with Vallejo-sized paint bottles, but I also use them in Citadel pots. Pop 2 in if you want more mixage per shakeage.

This product is made to facilitate the boiling of liquids in chemical laboratories. I use them as mixing balls for water-borne acrylic modelling paints. Metal balls can break small glass jars when you put the jars into hobby paint shakers. Also regular steel balls will rust when placed in water water-borne paints, discolouring the paint. These glass balls do not cause glass jars to shatter or discolour paint.
