Very very nice and pliable
I purchased this product to take my melted beef tallow and duck fat and make it into smaller usable amounts and freeze it in the ice cube shapes. It keeps it fresh in the freezer this way. The tallow or ice removes from the silicone very easily. It is also easy to clean. The product is VERY PLIABLE. It allows for easy removal of the ice or tallow Therefore I put a sturdy plate or something under it to carry it to the freezer because it will bend and slosh out very easily if I don’t keep it flat when picking it up. I like how cute the shapes look! How fun!

Yes yes yes
A thousand times better than the smaller ones! They pop out way easier and honestly they just look better. I can easily stack them on top of each other and when filled all the way the balls are formed perfectly.

The way I use it
* UPDATE: 11/07/2024 reviewRefrain from filling water up to the top in each cell, only 80%, to avoid the lid being raised by ice and won't stay well.* UPDATE: 10/4/2024 reviewCustomer service emailed me the correct use way*Before using the silicone ice cube tray, it is recommended to boil it in water for 5-10 minutes.*Silicone may become harder during production and boiling can help restore its original softness and elasticity, which helps our products better adapt to different usage environments and methods.*It is is recommend that you let the silicone ice cube tray sit at room temperature for 1-2 minutes before attempting to remove the ice cubes. Twist the ice cube tray with both hands, then ice cubes are each individually separated, you will release most of the ice cubes more easily and press the bottom to push out for the remaining few ice cubes.9/26/2024 reviewI take 1 star out. The lid could be thicker and deeper for a better fit. However, I am glad the lid is also made of silicon. This is not a big issue; it's just a suggestion. Here is the way I use it after reading many reviews:1. Soak the item in hot-warm water for 15 minutes, remove it, rinse with warm water, and then sock it back for another 15 minutes. Then remove it and rinse with warm water again.2. Use Q-tips to clean the cells. There is a thin wax-like substance inside them. Then, rise again with warm water.3. Wash both with light soapy water.4. Make ice cubes. Make sure to put this ice maker ON A TRAY to avoid water spills. The silicon tray is soft and the cover is not water spill-proof.5. Take the tray out and sit for 1-2 minutes before pushing ice cubes out from the bottom. Besides this 1-2 minutes allowed the cover to be removed more easily.6. TOSS all the ice cubes made the first time, then start to make ice again! Starting from the second time, all the ice cubes are good to eat.7. Remove the tray and place the silicon ice maker back in the freezer for the remaining ice cubes till all are gone.Why?1. Because of that my freezer is quite full and has no flat surface for the silicon soft case. Without a tray under it, water will spill and the cover won't stay good.2. Toss the ice cubes made for 1st time to avoid the smell and the taste. The silicon looks durable, however it's softer than plastic. And of course, silicon is better than plastic for health.Am I making it complicated? Hope you have a better way when you receive this item and start using it for the first time.I bought it at 20% off, good price, good silicon, good ice cube size. I like it.

Freezing your fresh squeezed juice.
I like it fine. You have to be careful when filling it and transporting it to your freezer. The lid doesn't have much to grip onto but it will keep your ice from absorbing any freezer smells.

Perfect for odd uses
I make ginger lemon tumeric immunity shots in large batches - and then freeze them in small ice cube trays that I can pop out and put into 2-4 oz glass jars (and cut with some canned pineapple juice. ) the problem is the glass jars have a very narrow mouth and I need small molds/trays to ensure they fit . The “5 quarter store” used to carry small round silicone ice trays that were perfect for this , but couldn’t find them . A lot of people are complaining how small these are - but they work perfect for my use ( I actually was expecting them to be smaller !) I could see them being used for other odd jobs (making beauty products or craft projects ) etc . I liked them so much I came back and bought a few more ! They will come in handy for freezing garlic and herbs in the summer time !
