ThermoPro TempPro 150m Range Truly Wireless Meat Thermometer, Bluetooth Meat Thermometer for Air Fryers Cooking, Grilling and Sous Vide, Food Temperature Probe with Smart APP for BBQ Oven Smoker

Used it for about a month now and it has helped no end in ensuring food is perfectly cooked. Used it in the oven, air fryer and BBQ and works a treat. Configuring the device to an Android phone was simple enough, nice USB-C charging port (probe recharges whilst in the base unit), the app is OK and can take a while to figure things out, but you can alter/adjust settings and/or add your own settings as needed Nice to be able to track the oven temperature as well as the internal temperature of the food you are cooking, you can set high/low level alarms which is great for tracking oven temperature and if your inner geek needs taming you can record your cooking to see the temperature rise for example in case you want to adapt your cooking temperatures and/or alter the desired internal temperature if that beef joint doesn't quite meet your medium-rare requirements :-) The alarm on the base unit is LOUD!!!! - sounds like the smoke alarm has activated, simple press of the 'S' button stops the noise (the app can be configured to turn off the alarms if required), but sometimes it does come in handy. It is a very solid probe with a ceramic handle, cleans easily, the base unit acts as a the storage case and has magnets on the base so it live on the fridge door. All in all, very happy with this purchase, the item does exactly as intended and the results are what I would expect, can't wait to really give it a working out on the BBQ in the summer, but in the meanwhile it will get a good workout in the kitchen.

Poor durability - like many other reports, good initially but the probe stops connecting with the base after a short while (for me, c. 6 months). I have ensured the two items are charged, but when attempting the bluetooth reset, the probe doesn't connect with the base. Also it would be good if you could have multi-stages in a cooking process,e.g. cookin in the oven to X and notify again when it gets to Y outside the oven whilst resting.

We bought this for everyday use not just the occasional outing in the BBQ. Airfryer chicken fillets would be a go to lunch for me when WFH, and the ThermoPro TempSpike allows perfect results every time and no overcooking but critically with chicken, no undercooking either. Marinade the chicken to your liking, pop the probe into the meat so that the black/gray ring on the spike is inside the fillet, e.g. you MUST push the spike the whole way in right up to the handle. Open the ThermoPro app, select the preset for chicken, set the airfryer to the right temp for your recipe and then set the air fryer timer to say 30mins because you’re going to use the temp-reached alarm function on the phone app to notify you when to stop the cooking process, to turn off the air fryer and pop the cooked meat into foil to rest for 2-3 mins. That’s it. Winner winner chicken pitta dinner ;-) Ok, things I didn’t expect about the ThermoPro app but are simply brilliant: 1) There are so many presets for different kinds of meats with the “cooked temperature” already programmed into the app. 2) The “temp reached” alarm is really loud, no mistaking it. 3) The app shows the temp in the air fryer try as well as the the temp inside the meat. Which is a great way to see if the temp on the display of the air fryer is the actual temp of the tray. 4) After some cooking there’s a countdown timer in the app which gives you a “prediction” as to when the cooking will complete. This counter is good for a guide but it’s only a guide. 5) The app supports MULTIPLE TempSpikes simultaneously, you just give each one a unique name, now that’s brilliant. The ThermoPro TempSpike has never lost connection to the app which was one of the things that many reviewers complain about the competition. Easy to clean, easy to charge and so easy to use, buy with confidence.

I cook a lot with my smoker, pizza oven and barbecue (lower heat as this is rated to 220-240c i think) it’s a good Temp Probe and a very good price for a wireless thermometer. Sadly the range is a little… Well it’s just not that kind of range maybe if you was in a clear field and walked 150m away the thermometer might stay connected to your phone but if I walk to the front of my house away from the thermometer the connection is lost so it’s quite misleading as it seems to struggle picking up a signal through a wall. Yeah it’s great if your sat in the garden drinking beer say about 10-20ft away with a clear range but if you go indoors to the fridge to get another beer then the signal seems to struggle. Other than that it’s quite good I guess.

The Thermopro Tempspike works as advertised (so far). The app is a bit basic but shows the necessary information and seems to update the cooking temperature fairly quickly. The meat profiles are a bit limited but it is easy enough to add extra once you've Googled what the cooked temperatures should be. I found the estimated timings spot on (admittedly oly after one test). The range was academic to me as I only use it in the kitchen and it worked fine there. Two things I found a bit irritating: (1) the tempspike takes ages to charge up (liveable with) and (2) it will only connect to a single smartphone at any one time. On the whole, though, a great addition to th kitchen.

First time used in a Ninja woodfire grill, the top end of the spike broke. I still don't know if it was my fault or a defect. Spoke to very nice customer service man who straightaway said they would send me a replacement one FOC. this arrived 3 days later. Amazing. On my first use, very easy to use the app, liked the graph history and that I could store notes on the cook I had just done - a spatchcock slow smoked chicken. Connection from the spike to the booster was good although I did have it outside about 6" away from the Ninja. Connection to phone was OK but stopped when I moved my phone away to go on charge but came back straightaway as soon as I moved it closer. To be fair I think the obstacles/walls were not a fair judge of its performance. Look forward to trying it out again as soon as it's charged up.

Excellent bit of kit until the battery in the probe fails just outside the warranty period.

PRODUCT The probe and app are very easy to setup and pair. The built in options for food are great, and it's great being able to add your own with temps that can be reused. This so far has allowed me to make steaks on the BBQ to perfectly medium rare, and make sure chicken drumsticks are cooked just right on the BBQ (avoid overcooking "just to be safe"). And a perfect roast chicken in the oven. It's great as you don't need to constantly hover food, it just beeps when something has reached whatever desired temp you set it to. COMPANY I had a problem with my probe and the company resolved the issue at cost to them without arguing or any problems. SUMMARY There are cheaper, but that to me is a risk of wasting money, as this one is most certainly very good value for money as it works well and is well supported. I highly recommend.

Davvero un ottimo termometro questo Temp Spike, molto intuitivo nell'utilizzo e anche davvero molto preciso. Ho misurato la temperatura di un po' d'acqua calda con questo termometro e con altri due termometri, tutti indicanti la stessa temperatura con un'incertezza massima di circa 0.5°C tra loro. Buonissima durata della batteria, l'ho usato per una cottura in forno di circa 1,5 ore, poi l'ho dimenticato per altre 4 ore acceso durante la cena. Quando l'ho rimesso a posto era ancora a circa l'80%. Potenzialmente, sembrerebbe che possa accompagnare una cottura di 12 ore o più senza problemi. Ottimo anche il raggio di comunicazione del ripetitore bluetooth. All'interno di una casa di circa 150 mq, con molte mura interne, copre bene, senza perdite di connessione, tutta la distanza da una parete esterna all'altra della casa. L'app è davvero ben fatta, molto razionale e intuitiva, permette di impostare diversi allarmi, sia per la sonda interna che per quella esterna e permette anche di tracciare registrare un grafico dell'andamento della temperatura di cottura. La sonda non è eccessivamente spessa, ma lo è comunque più di un termometro a sonda normale con filo o con manico, e in effetti non è molto utile quando si tratta di cucinare delle fettine sottili di carne o pesce. Risulta invece estremamente comoda per cuocere grossi pezzi, come le cosce di tacchino, l'arista, il roast beef e il filetto di manzo. Facilita molto il perfetto raggiungimento del livello di cottura desiderato.

Produkt przyszedł używany - ewidentnie po zwrocie, bez instrukcji, brudna - przypalona sonda. Po ładowaniu sonda nie łączy się z app. - nie mierzy temperatury. Nie polecam.

Wow, talk about a great Wireless meat thermometer. The.ThermoPro TempSpike 500 worked so well and it's very very accurate. I use it in my air fryer it was Little worried about how it would work, but I have to say I was very pleased. Now keep in mind. I am not a chef nor am I very good at cooking but my air fryer definitely makes me look that way, and this thermometer ensure I'd never overcook anything. The 500 foot range is great. It allows me to move around a house or go outside and so I have a connection to the thermometer so I don't have to worry about my food. Very easy to set up and a charge less for quite a while so if I were you, I'd buy this. It's well worth the money as I said before it's a great tool to have in the kitchen.

Me gustó, comodo para tener el tiempo perfecto y el mejor resultado. A veces pierde la señal pero enseguida se recupera. Muy recomendable
