My tiles are porcelain with a shiny finish, but they became smeary dull looking, other products and even a floor steamer did not help, so I spent time on my hands and knees with a scouring pad and scrubbed them, I then mixed up this product as directed and washed the tiles using a mop. Quite pleased with the results, time will tell if it was the scrubbing before hand that helped, but I am optimistic. Update, been almost one month now and I am so pleased with this product, the shine improved even more after a few more washes, no more dull smeary tiles.

Practical application

Arrived this morning and as I was cleaning my bathroom, thought I'd try it on my wall tiles.I clean my tiles thoroughly once a week and wipe down daily, so I thought they were clean.My tiles are white and floor to ceiling, so it's important to me that they look good.Made the cleaner as instructed and could not believe how much cleaner and shinier they turned out.I was mortified at how grayish the water became as I cleaned my tiles, that I honestly thought were already clean!Really easy and effortless. Wipe and leave to dry.Will never use anything else now, this stuff is great and no chemical smells. Love it!

I bought this product specially for its cleaning and shine resoring properties as described. However I do think this could have been achieved from your usual off the supermarket shelf cleaner without spending 8 odd quids. I have applied this product twice now as described on some non glossy old and new tiles. The results aren't so impressive as you would get the same cleaning power from cif/mr muscle etc and the shine is hardly noticeable. Although its ok as a regular cleaner I dont think I'll be interested in buying another one.

I used this on my black faux slate tiles in my kitchen, they now have a subtle sheen to them Which I'm very happy with

After laying new ceramic floor tiles and cleaning them with a HG product, I used this to bring out the shine.Sadly, once it had dried, there was no apparent difference .. no shine! Yes, I did follow the instructions.

Hi just received our second bottle of the HG tile clearer and tile restorer. We had ceramic hall and kitchen floor tiles that had lost their lustre, were dull, lifeless and in need of changing. We had checked out new tiles and a provisional search for tilers. Well after using this no 17 solution in the mop bucket and drying of with a microfibre floor dryer, well impressed. The old tiles looked like new, shing and most importantly not as easily dirtied. We have used it ever since and are now onto our second bottle. No scrubbing or nasty chemical smells, just a beautiful finish and durability. Thanks HG

Just a normal floor cleaner. I had a very dirty floor , made no difference from the cheap cleaning product I buy at supermarket. too expensive for the quality
