They are so beautiful. They are exactly like a much more expensive set I saw at a department store discount store.They fit perfectly in my wooden utensil organizer (also from Amazon).They are gorgeous as special occasion utensils but sturdy enough for everyday use. (They are everyday use in my home)TIPS TO KNOW:1. Don’t be apprehensive about the weight of the utensils. They are not as light as what many consider to be an everyday utensil but they are also not awkward in the weight distribution. You won’t feel like the handle is falling out of your hand.2. If you are accustomed to lighter weight utensils you might regularly lay your fork, knife or spoon on the side of your plate as you walk from the table to the counter and vise versa. With these utensils you’ll need to not allow them to hang so far off of your plate or hold the utensil between your thumb and the plate when you walk as the weight will allow them to slide faster than other light weight utensils. Not doing this can result in the utensil falling off of your plate.3. Using these utensils as everyday utensil can result in a spike in your joy and mental zen. They feel fancy when you hold them and simply opening your utensil drawer and looking at them sitting so beautifully in there will make you smile.🤣4. Although they are categorized as “hammered” the “hammering” is reversed, so to speak, where the crevice is raised and the “hammering” is sunken. This DOES NOT take away the beauty of them in any way. As a dinner party extraordinaire I would also say they would go well with a typical hammered look if you are looking to use this with something hammered that you currently have.5. I can’t speak on what they do in the dishwasher because we don’t use a dishwasher anymore in our home. We are a family of 4 and range in age from 50 yo to 15 yo. These silverware are a must buy. They are very sturdy and easy to clean. I totally recommend anyone who is looking for something different than just a plain spoon or fork. Fast delivery also..
