And having a spare loose straight line template is extremely useful, both for diagonals and for transferring to another sheet where one cannot position in the folder provided, for example where one needs to add to or amend a diagram on a fixed A1 paper on display in a planning office or engineering project, I have benefited from this remarkable product. This is an excellent product, perfect for a part 1 architect from surveys to sketches, it just makes the job that little bit easier, especially in sketching out quick preliminary designs for initial meeting client feedback at stage 1 of the RIBA stage of works. I would definitely recommend this tool to architects and surveyors over a standard notepad any day. It looks much more professional and makes reading sketches back at the office so much clearer

Great bit of kit. I bought my first one about 20 years ago from a trade exhibition and it's still going strong, but starting to look a bit tatty so I treated myself to another one! Great for survey notes and sketching out room layouts

It takes a little practice, but once you get it it becomes very easy to draw straight lines and the grid helps with scaling. Good for survey's, but I should have bought the a4 version. A3 is a bit too bulky and especially outdoors, the paper lifts very easily

Loved the product when I see it first. Perfect tool for drawing straight lines, but needs improvizing with diagonal lines and circles :)Anyway, must have tool for fast sketches!

Waste of money should’ve just bought a ruler

I’m a carpenter/joiner and use this for sketching plans. It looks very impressive when you’re drawing straight lines and accurate corners in front of clients without using a ruler. I’ve had my previous kit for over 10 years and it’s a bit battered so I purchased a new one and expect the same performance from this one.

Excellent product- amaze clients with your steady hand!Cons: A bit expensive, there could be a template only cheaper option.Really impressed with delivery, next day they sent a txt first thing with an hour delivery slot, I was due to go out and replied "1" (for deliver to a Neighbour), they txt me again to let me know it had been delivered to next door with the house number, neighbours last name and the time! Fantastic service, the Royal Mail should take a few tips from this!
