Il dispositivo funziona molto bene. Lo utilizzo con delle Beyerdynamic DT 990 Edition da 600 ohm e, impostandolo su High Gain, riesce a pilotarle senza problemi e con un volume abbastanza elevato. La configurazione è stata molto semplice: Windows lo ha riconosciuto praticamente subito senza installare driver, anche se consiglio comunque di scaricarli per evitare qualsiasi tipo di problema. Non sono un audiofilo, quindi non posso fare valutazioni tecniche approfondite, ma all’ascolto la qualità audio mi sembra davvero elevata. Il suono è pulito, i bassi ci sono e non ho percepito distorsioni nemmeno a volumi elevati. Ho avuto modo di confrontarlo anche con un’amplificatore a valvole artigianale e la differenza, a mio parere, trascurando il suono più caldo delle valvole, è davvero minima. L’unica nota negativa riguarda le condizioni in cui mi è arrivato il prodotto. Nel mio caso Amazon si occupava della sola spedizione, per cui la descrizione delle condizioni del prodotto era curata da un negozio terzo. Mi è stato venduto come nuovo, ma è arrivato con alcuni segni che facevano pensare a un precedente utilizzo; inoltre, uno dei piedini inferiori era spostato rispetto alla posizione originale di fabbrica. Il dispositivo comunque funziona perfettamente e tutti gli accessori erano inclusi nella confezione. Nel complesso il DX3 Pro+ è un ottimo Dac/Amp che vi permette di pilotare senza problemi la maggior parte di cuffie in commercio, compresi i modelli più difficili come le mie. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo si può quindi definire eccezionale, specialmente se riuscite a trovare qualche offerta sotto i 200€. Consigliato.

I picked up the Topping DX3 Pro+ to clean up my desktop audio situation, and… wow. This little unit is basically a “sorry-not-sorry” upgrade for anything your headphones have been putting up with. First off, it’s ridiculously flexible: USB / Optical / Coax / Bluetooth inputs, plus RCA line-out and a 3.5mm headphone out, so it slides into a desktop setup like it owns the place. And it doesn’t just do one job — it can run as a DAC + headphone amp or as a DAC / preamp depending on what you need. Bluetooth is actually legit here. It’s Bluetooth 5.0 with LDAC (and other codecs), using the QCC5125 chipset, and the neat part is that it routes the Bluetooth signal to the ES9038Q2M DAC for decoding (instead of relying on the Bluetooth chip’s internal DAC). Translation: wireless that doesn’t feel like a compromise For wired listening, it’s also a spec monster in the best way: the XMOS XU208 USB interface supports up to PCM 32‑bit/768kHz and DSD512 over USB. And power-wise, it has two gain settings and can push up to 1800mW ×2 @ 32Ω, so it’s happy with both sensitive IEMs and more demanding headphones. The cherry on top? Remote control + volume/preamp control makes it feel way more “grown-up hi‑fi” than a typical desktop box. I didn’t expect to enjoy a remote this much… but here we are, living my best lazy audiophile life. Bottom line: If you want a compact DAC/amp that does serious sound, real LDAC Bluetooth, and enough inputs to stop cable-juggling — the DX3 Pro+ is an easy 5 stars. It made my setup sound so good I almost apologized to my headphones for how I used to feed them audio

It's a solid headphone DAC. The clicky volume knob is one of those nice touches that makes it feel just a bit more premium. It powers both my Sennheiser HD 600 and my LCD-X without problem (though for the Senns, the high gain setting is necessary). Although I don't use it this way, you can connect to it wirelessly via Bluetooth. The screen is nice and bright, but not intrusive. It doesn't take up a lot of space on my desk. There's not much to the little box, but that's alright - it's straightforward, and what it does, it does well. The sound is clean, and it's a pretty good value if you catch it on sale. You're not gonna get any tubes or anything here, but if you're looking for a simple DAC that just does its job, this is a solid choice.
