Chocolate Dutch Mints Candy Pieces, Mint Filled Chocolates, Sharable Bagged Candies, Pack of 3, 2.9 Ounces

When I was a kid, I would go to Gloria Jean's coffee shop in our local mall and plug my nose at the smell of coffee, which I did not like at the time, abd purchase what I now realize are Holland or Dutch mints, a bag of candy coated chocolate wrapped I believe butter mints. I don't remember them being chewy but they were delectable.In this case, this version of Dutch Mint is exactly how other reviewers describe, basically a Junior Mint inside a candy coated shell.You do taste the chocolate, which is great, and you do get that candy crunch, which is a bit weird to be chewing and crunching at the same, but I think the point of these mints is to be able to in a saycer or alongside coffee or tea since these won't melt so well as straight up Junior Mints, so it is actually kind of a handy thing to keep around as a giveaway or an after coffee mint that won't melt in your hand. Most people don't eat Junior Mints with their hands anyway... myou just open the box and shove it down your gullet before they melt,, or maybe that's a hot climate issue.Jelly Belly knocks it out the park and you'll eat more than you need.

They were too overpriced for the amount that I received.

I usually love these and the taste was fine, but in two of the bags many of the candies were squashed and lobbed together. Very unpleasant to look at

Three tiny bags for $17.88. That’s $32.96 per pound for Jelly Belly candies. Total rip-off. Never again.

These are three very small bags of mints. Quality of the mints is excellent.
