Zenith Industries ZN700001 Trim Puller

Not only is it great for removing door trim, I removed stair strips with ease and im fully aware it will remove skirting boards I used a rubber mallet. No damage to plasterboard to boot. You tube will tell you to get a pry bar, tradesmen will say use wood behind the pry bar to stop you damaging the plaster. I chose this tool as no wood needed, no damage caused to plasterboard has multiple effortless applications due to it strong sturdy design, so if you need a tool for the above buy one, no experience needed.

Just started to use this trim puller to remove all my skirting’s before I lay a new LVT floor. What an amazing tool. So easy to use. Can’t speak highly enough. Well worth the little bit more as my dad always says “you get what you pay for”

I I’ve previously removed skirting from both solid and stud walls and to do it properly requires using chisels, crow bars, pieces of wood to protect the wall and even then chances are you’ll dent the plaster on a solid wall or bust through a plasterboard sheet completely. I bought this tool after searching for a wider crow bar than I already have. I got the job done with very little damage to the wall and all of the skirting off in complete lengths - so I can thoroughly recommend this tool!

Great product does exactly what it says. Strong enough for me at 80Kgs to stand on and lever skirting boards off, even with the biggest masonry nails. Also very good for tight spaces due to size, excellent tool for removing carpet nails.

This really is for the North American market where every wall is a dry wall and the skirting is nailed using a brad nail gun. Here in good old Blighty, our walls in older houses are quite different. If you have a Gypsum plasterboard wall, you'll probably be okay, if on the other hand yours is an older property with lath and lime plaster, be prepared for destruction. These skirting boards were usually held in with 4 inch oval nails hammered in to the plaster, and the plaster disintegrates very easily. I would still recommend this tool as it does make short work of getting the skirting off, but be prepared to buy some rubble sacks.

Did what they was supposed to do. Good quality, Bit Too Expensive , But pleased with this purchase as it quickly removes trim with minimum damage.

What a fantastic tool. Bought it to remove skirting which it did brilliantly. My next job is tiling the bathroom but need to remove the old tiles but they are really well fitted and stubborn. This tool works like a dream in removing them without the typical damage to the plaster.

This is a really solid piece of equipment. Comfortable to use and heavy enough to hit in with a hammer. Great for removing wooden skirting boards

Super sturdy and will remove even the oldest trim and baseboards with ease. Just slit the caulking and hammer the edge of the tool into the baseboard. The shape of the tool pulls the baseboard from the wall. Repeat along the wall and the trim will easily pull away. We used it on baseboard that had been nailed below the flooring and heavily glued. Once we pulled it away we had to cut a few nails, but without this tool, it would have been much more difficult to remove.
