New working remote
The only thing needed for setting up the remote is installing the batteries. Simple as that. Put batteries in, point at TV and works perfectly like the brand new remote that it is. Identical to the original and all buttons work. Thought that the TV may need replacing. Tried this first, much cheaper option that worked. Very pleased.

Does what it says on the tin
When my husband was in hospital although he had a TV to watch ,other patients seem to like taking the remote controls home with them !!!So I bought this , he used whilst he was in hospital and we left for others to use

Not working tried everything
Remote didn't work, i tried everything. Just would not work.

Good as the original for my Philips TV
Reasonable price and arrived on time.Just add batteries (not included) and good to go. All function buttons work as expected.My model is 55PUT6400/12 Smart Ultra HD 4K 55" LED, no longer cutting edge but great as a 2nd TV. However, this remote is generic (for Philips) so, in theory, should work for all models. Better this than a Universal Remote, as there may be issues where the buttons don't map correctly.
