Best for the kids to learn carnatic music. My daughter loves it

My kid used this book for his Carnatic music classses. Print quality is good and very helpful for English to Sanskrit language conversion. US kids can catchup very easily without any parents helps.

I wonder why a book which would cost 30 rupees in India costs nearly $30 here? Are they trying to discourage people from learning Carnatic music? The content is pretty standard, and totally not worth the amount I payed.

Way too expensive for the size of the book.
