This micro 4.6mm supply pipe I received from Gardena looks and feels good quality. I found connecting the different connecters to the pipe easy to do and now that everything is up and running I can now say the pipe is doing its job and doing it well. Recommend

The product arrived on time and on the date specified and from the labelling on the packaging and tubing is a high quality genuine gardena part. It is very robust and fit gardena accessories precisely with no leaks. I was extremely pleased that amazon sold this at such a reasonable price, 25% cheaper than anywhere else. 50 metres is long enough for the average uk garden with plenty to spare. One thing I would advise is that if fitting an irrigation system for the first time buy more hose than you think you will need as there is bound to be a little wastage as you try and get the setting right. The gardena microdrip system is perfect if you have a mixture of lawn and flower beds, as the former tends to love being drenched whereas the latter prefer a gentler water flow.

I needed a long pipe to install an irrigation system around the garden and this seemed the cheapest option for the length. Gardena is well-known brand too, so seemed a good deal. The pipe is good quality, but very rigid - for me it was ideal as I only needed something long to go around the perimeter of the garden: it was to be the main feed for other pipes that would then tap into it. So far so good, although it was a nightmare to run behind sheds and fences due to the unyielding nature of the material. I have been able to tap into it with the Hozelock 4mm straight connectors for micro-irrigation, but it was very hard to screw in, even with the hose punch. All-in-all, a good buy I think, but be warned that it takes effort to put it in place if you don't want to cut it up into smaller sections.

Good value /price. I'm adding a short review as there are some comments querying if this is a genuine Gardena product, presumably because the picture on Amazon only shows a coiled supply pipe. I can say that the pipe arrived in full Gardena packaging and it has the company name printed on the pipe itself, so it all looks genuine to me. (See pictures) I've set it up with the rest of my watering system and it is working just fine. I hope this helps!

Easy to cut and use with irrigation system

Worked very well in my irrigation setup and is a great price for a branded hose... punctures well to insert 4mm connectors, time will tell how many seasons it's last

Some reviewers have criticised the quality of the Gardena 13mm and 4.6mm pipes they have received. I have NEVER had any criticism of the pipes, so wonder what they received, or maybe they thought they were buying garden hose. This delivery was the usual thickness and flexibility and was cut to size, installed and tested within minutes of receipt.

It does what I needed it to do, it's perfectly adequate given how cheap the product is. Just be careful as it will kink and then the part with the kink is unusable. I'd buy it again though if I needed some more as it's good value for money.

It does the job but kinks really easily and stays kinked. I would have returned it but I needed it right away so I was just extra careful when installing it.

This is remarkably tough, durable and resilient tubing or pipe for the gardena irrigation system. It seems to be impervious to UV degradation as my system has baked in the deep south summer sun for two growing seasons now with no sign of deterioration and still looks like new. I love the gardena system...paired with a water timer it works wonders for the plants during the brutal summers here. I do take down the system and put in storage for the winter since I don't know how the tubing would tolerate freezing temperatures. This particular supply tubing was purchased in preparation of adding some new supply lines next spring.
