Amazing, but buy it in a glass bottle!
My oil came in a glass bottle so not quite the same product I am reviewing. The oil is amazing. I've put it on cuts and sores that healed and reduced in days. It's great for nails and hair and you only need a very tiny bit, directly applied. It's quite a heavy oil, but I combine a little bit with almond oil which is lighter, and it makes a very effective moisturiser for face and body, leaving the skin feeling soft and nourished.I suffer from excema and have had no irritations, only soothing effects.I would highly recommend and will be buying again, but if the product only comes in a plastic bottle from now on I might be tempted to shop elsewhere. The oil itself is a little touch of magic.

Excellent product ...
Started using this product after hearing it being plugged several times on YouTube. After purchasing the product I have been using same for about five months and have seen an improvement in my hair. Good for helping those that have thin edges as I have noticed the hair growing back in this area.Definitely noted a thickening of my hair (my is getting thinner due to age). Had to buy a second bottle because after raving about it to my friends and my mother and pouring out a little here and a little there, I had none left.Product is thick so it does go a long way.

Possiable hair growth
After watching YouTube vids on this product I took the plunge and purchased this, after making some mistakes with my hair I ruined my hairline at the front. I opted to have chunky braids for a little while as a protective hairstyle. I started rubbing the jbco oil in to my hairline not religiously but enough. When I took out my braids I saw a visible improvement the hair had kinda grow back and some bald spots had completely gone. Now I'm nt sure if this is because I had the braids in or if it's the oil ? But I'd like to think its the oil, currently I have my Afro out natural and the only thing I'm using is this product it's been a week and my hair is so moisturised with the oil that i don't need anything else so I'd say it's a good for Afro hair type my hair has responded. I'd say try it for yourself

Cautious!
I have previously bought JBCO from another supplier and was quite happy with using it on my 3yr old daughters hair. I felt it made her hair stronger and prevented hair breakage. There was never any excessive hair in comb whilst being groomed. I used it mainly on her scalp and to seal her ends. When I needed to replace the JBCO I immediately decided to order from Amazon. I couldn't find the brand I last used so decided to purchase this brand instead. When I read the bottle it warned to seek advice if using on infants/children.I have no idea why advice needs to be sought, so I have not use it on her hair.I guess I will need to research now if any brand of JBCO is safe to use on children's hair, before purchasing any more. I of course have continued to use it on my hair and skin.

This is the REAL and best quality....
This is the REAL and best quality Jamaican castor oil on the market, it does NOT have and sodium (salt) so it's perfect for the hair and to heal cuts and abrasions.

So sad to say this product was awful - it had a awful smell never before experienced with castor oil - I put it on my skin an hair - it burned my skin and my scalp - I would not recommend it

Speedy delivery! Staple oil
This product is a must for anyone who has afro caribbean hair! It's pure, its thick, its moisturising when applied with the moisture and seal method (the hair is spritzed with water, and sealed with oil). This is best used as part of a hot oil treatment, or added to your conditioner to for deep treatments (yes you can do that to give your hair maximum moisture if you suffer from dry afro hair).Overall, this is now a staple of mine, and I add it to my deep treatments as well as the kimmaytube leave in mixture!Excellent!
