I bought these uv bulbs to sterilize a 5 foot by 5 foot closet with mildew issues. With the door sealed shut the bulb produced a scary amount of ozone in just a few hours. Be sure to have a ventilation path ready when you're done using these bulbs. Since using the uv bulb and getting the moisture under control, I've had zero mildew since.

For the record, I am reviewing: BAIMNOCM 2 Pack UV Light Bulb with Ozone 25 Watt UVC Bulb 185nm/254nm E26 2 Count I purchased a 15 watt UVC bulb back at the beginning of the Covid Pandemic. My husband works at the VA and he sees a lot of sick patients. Some of them would lie and say that they did not have a fever or cough just so that they could get their appointment completed as they were having to wait for a long time, at that time, for an appointment. We instituted an isolation and decontamination policy for home that included him going directly to the garage after work, undressing and putting his clothes into the washer. He then put all his other items, like keys, wallet, badges, and such into a box and we set that just under the 15 watt light bulb that we would turn on for 15 minutes to decontaminate everything. Then he would go and take a shower and put on fresh clothes. It worked. neither of us has ever had covid, our vigilance worked. He got sick with this flu that is going around and it turned into pneumonia and sepsis. We isolated him in one bedroom and put the 25 watt UVC light bulb in the bathroom. After he uses the bathroom we turn the bulb on and shut the door. After 30 minutes the room is sterilized. When you open the door the smell of ozone is present. That means it is CLEAN. Ozone is a good thing. But you have to air out the room before entering. So far, three weeks now I have been safe and not gotten sick, and I usually get anything that he gets and brings home. I credit the UVC light and our isolation procedures. For anyone that is concerned with the number and type of bugs going around, I would HIGHLY recommend these bulbs. They are powerful enough to clean a 10x12 room within 30 minutes or less. Just do not look at the light when it is on.

Product is fine, but there are 2 separate products, one with ozone and one without, and the seller should make it clearer which is which. It's confusing. The listings, the items, and the packaging are too similar, and I bought the wrong one. They are both germicidal, but ozone is a respiratory irritant.

Ordered two bulbs, one doesn’t work, one broken after two time use. Seller immediately contact me for the replacement. Get the replacement today. Both bulbs work.

Works just like advertised. Ionization smells pretty bad and takes a while to air out, but that depends on the amount of time you use the lights. 15 - 30 minutes I figure there would not be much smell. Used it to kill some mold that grew after flooding that occurred. Make sure no one goes into area where lights are or looks at the lights as they can cause skin damage, skin cancer, and retinal damage. also make sure no pets or plants are left in the area. It will kill plants. I left lights on overnight (from what I read it takes 1-4 hours to kill mold). After, the room smelled horrible and hard to breathe due to the ionizing but I opened windows and used fans in windows to air out the room. When it was aired out the musty smell was gone and the room is back to normal. Worked well for my purposes.
