Fire Vida Milton Fire Screen Spark Guard Arched, Black

I have bought two of these fire guards. I have found them more than adequate for my needs. Apart from using them for the safety of the granchildren, I originally bought them to stop my youngest dog from pinching the coals off of the fire. She would chew them and make a real mess on the carpet. I needed something to stop the dogs and to look nice around my new fire. Some guards are a bit too ornate for me but this, with it's smooth curves on the top is perfect. You can see through the mesh enough so that it doesn't destroy the look of your fire. I could probably take them away now but they might as well stay as they don't look so bad and I would need to find somewhere for them to go. All in all, really good price, simple design. Perfect. Dogs aren't too keen though!

I bought this to keep my dog away from the fire as she is constantly trying to paw at her own reflection in the chrome surround and she often pinches socks and lays them on the hearth. It’s nice and plain. Not ornate, fussy or too glitzy, it’s just nice simple clean lines and keeps my dog safe!!

Excellent quality for the price paid. Bought this to protect a rather inquisitive pooch from getting too near the wood burner. The screen itself is of decent quality and fits in nicely with the overall feel of burner that is located in the kitchen. Word of advice; please read fully the product description, including the dimensions, because if you don't you may (as some reviewers seem to be) be disappointed with its size.

Very smart, but light so they move easily and won't stop an interested dog! But definitely good value for money.

Love this fireguard. Such a reasonable price, its simple elegant lines compliment the hearth and black marble surround. I checked out several other folding screens but this is heavier than some of similar price and their reviewers were complaining that they fell to pieces. Thank you reviewers! It has no handle but I am not likely to take it away when it's hit so that is not a problem for me.

It works well for protecting the front of the log burner, but it’s not very solid. If you want a strong solid fire guard don’t buy this. If I was using it all the time I would of sent it back. Only use it when my grandchild comes to stay.

Keeps our puppy from getting too close to the log burner. Does what it’s supposed to, doesn’t get hot and has a good quality feel about it. What more can you ask for?
