Simple to use and setup. Doesn't come with a power supply but does have a micro USB cable and can be powered from other equipment.I'm using it to split the output from a virgin V6 box and it did the job without any issue (V6 box powers it via the boxes USB)It's good quality and the split picture is perfect with no artifacts or sound issues.I run it to a hdmi to scart converter (purchased elsewhere) to send the signal via a AV sender and it worked exactly as I needed it to. Worth noting as some other splitters do seem to have issues.

This was purchased to circumvent a problem alluded to by other reviewers; namely the problem of compatibility between Virgin media's new V6 cable box and older televisions and/or sound systems that don't conform to the latest HDCP protocols. I'm by no means an expert in such matters but I understand that the Virgin Media box expects either none or all of the other components in the video chain to be HDCP compliant and if it detects that one device (in my case the Pioneer TV) is non compliant, it will just display an error message. I have never had a problem in the past simply connecting the Virgin Box directly to the TV but once I had installed a new (and HDCP compliant) soundbar, the system no longer functioned. Having researched the problem on-line, it was suggested that inserting an HDMI splitter into the video chain between the Virgin Box and the soundbar would overcome the problem and, sure enough, problem solved. The device itself is well-made and can be powered via the (supplied) USB cable connected to the Virgin Media box.

Only just received but seems to work well and quick delivery plus reasonable price. The usb power lead is also a plus as I am using more than 1 . I like the green light when HDMI cables are connected but find the red power led to be too bright - as others have mentioned. But the latter has not put me off.

Bought this for my mother who likes to go from her sitting room to the kitchen and still be able to watch TV. Recently she changed to a Virgin V6 box which only has an HDMI output (previously we had a coax splitter feeding the 2nd TV) so this was to split the HDMI signal. Initially it was great with a good quality picture on both TV's. Within 24hrs we were seeing a loss of signal intermittently and within a couple of days no signal at all on one channel. First time I have had to use Amazons return service (which was super efficient!!!). Have now gone for a slightly more expensive unit and so far so good. This unit takes power from a USB which was good & avoids additional power cables behind the TV unit (which already appears to have far too many - there is a USB on the V6 box), the new unit is fed from a separate power source (mains adapter).

I needed to send a signal from my laptop to 2 TVs but only had one HDMI output. This worked really well. I just pluged in all the cables and away it went. Simitanious pictures and sound to both TVs. I also now have the option to expand presentations to two more devices if need be. Really pleased with how this worked as i am by no means a "tech genius"

I had to return my Original product. On attempting to connect it between my Virgin V6 TiVo box and my TV none of the LEDs lit, and there was a "NO SIGNAL" message on my TV. However after I returned the product I was contacted by Neoteck via amazon, the product was replaced, no quibble. The new splitter worked perfectly. I used it to split the signal from my Virgin V6 Tivo Box, HDMI from Tivo to the In put port on the Splitter, Out put port 1 to TV and Output port 2 to HDMI to Scart converter and the scart to Video recorder which then passes the signal to other rooms throughout the house. Picture and sound very good throughout the house on all channels. Very pleased with the Product and the excellent service from NEOTECK

This item is so easy to set up and use and a good price and was delivered on time and in good condition

Using as a splitter for a Raspberry Pi going to a monitor and projector. You have to boot the computer plugged in directly to one display otherwise the display is not detected at all. Once you boot plugged in to a monitor, you can then switch to the splitter. A bit of a pain, especially when training others to use a computer system.Also has a large power draw via USB. Couldn't use both this and a single USB powered speaker from the same computer - even plugged in to different USB headers.
