This is a fantastic tool. I’ve been painting on masking fluid with a rubber brush and it takes awhile to apply and it doesn’t look even-ish. This tool is a game changer; the lines are even and quickly applied. Cut my masking time by 75%. Highly recommended, especially if you’re apprehensive about using masking fluid. Dries quickly, stays in place, easily removed and you can adjust the thickness of the line.

I use the ruling pen to apply masking fluid (Watercolor and acrylic color) to art paper. Great for straight thin, lines, small patches, and detail masking. Cleans easily.

Works great with the Windsor and Newton masking fluid, I've never needed and expensive one to get the thin lines I need sometimes, I have had no issues as of yet with the screw being to short or coming out, but I mostly use it on the smallest setting possible for whiskers or with my micro paintings

No more gummy brushes when using masking fluid! This ruling pen helps you lay down an even line of fluid and easily wipes clean. I gave it 4 stars because the screw adjustment for line width is a little flimsy so you have to be careful with it. There’s also a learning curve to laying down a consistently even amount of fluid on your line. But it’s definitely an improvement over a brush.

This tool worked great for applying thick and thin lines of masking fluid. A screw adjusts the width and the fluid doesn’t drip out. So easy to clean and you won’t ruin any more brushes.

It does the job for me, but isn’t the best quality. I wish it made a really , really thin line, but the price was right.

Oh wow! That’s what I have to say about this magnificent little tool! So much easier to place masking fluid where it needs to go.. where has this tool been all my life? No learning curve.. just dip and use! Works so much better than a brush, and it’s so easy to clean. Love it!

but I would have liked a set of instructions to go along with it. I think that you should consider adding a set in. Not everyone knows how they work (including me) and learning from youtube videos can get a bit annoying cause sometimes THEY don't know what they are doing, and some of those people don't bother telling you they got no idea till you wasted an hour and broken your new toy.
