Exceptional Quality—Perfect for Winter Travels!
The Merino Wool Base Layer Women Set is truly remarkable. The quality of the fabric is incredible—soft, warm, and incredibly effective at keeping the cold at bay. I wore this set on a recent winter trip to Europe, and it made a world of difference. The fabric is thick and insulating, yet it remains breathable, making it ideal for both cold weather and varying activity levels. The fit is excellent, and the craftsmanship is top-notch, with great attention to detail in the stitching and overall confection.

It is wool so could feel it slightly, but I would forget about it. Kept me warm in negative temps
Fit well, comfortable, and worked! I was in -15 temps and wearing these as a base layer, I wasn't cold at all. Even looked good when I was just relaxing in my room at the end of the night. I don't wear wool, so I was worried about if they would be itchy. I could feel them, but only if I thought about it. I don't think I would have noticed if I wasn't worried about it and thinking about it. 99% of the time I didn't feel them at all and was perfectly comfortable. Thin enough to fit under my jeans. The socks were a great bonus. They were men's size, but I was going to wear them over my other socks. (however a guy friend of mine forgot to pack any, so I gave them to him). The set was very much worth the money (about $100) I spent.

Amazin’
For those who don’t know: it’s wool, so it won’t feel like spandex or cotton when you put it on…That said, I tried it straight out of the bag and I am thoroughly impressed. I’ve never owned anything like it, just the cheap stuff for $10 and to me this is well worth the investment. It’ll last a long time (I’ll update if it doesn’t).Both arms raised and the top doesn’t ride up past my hips.Pants are “medium rise” which makes it so that everything is covered even as I move/lay about. The zipper end at the neck has a protector so it doesn’t bother you when zipped up.Measurements are accurate!!!! I ordered the appropriate size and it fits like a superhero suit.I “broke it in” by wearing it long enough for it to warm up before I went outside with it (about 15mins). Once outside, it stays warm enough to keep me from shivering in Illinois, windy, and currently 12 degrees (snowing, and feels like 0) weather while I take my 2 dogs out (with a 2nd layer: jeans and a wool hoodie). It came with socks that are surprisingly not 2 inches thick! It is soft and I’m fully prepared to face winter.. once I buy a couple more sets, that is.

Want to keep warm and feel good
These are so comfortable. They feel so good. Kept me plenty warm in January in Canada. They fit well under my other clothing. You do need to do a little extra care when washing to keep them retaining their shape. I just was in cold and hand to dry.

Very soft and comfortable
My daughter recommended wearing a wool base layer when we hiked instead of my usual cotton long underwear. I bought this Merino wool set and wore it on several hikes. I also used my usual cotton ones. The wool was much lighter and softer but every bit as warm. The big plus was I stayed dryer underneath so didn't get chilled in damp clothing when I stopped hiking. Most of my hiking clothes are a size larger than normal clothes to accommodate long wear but these were thin and comfortable and did not require bigger clothes. Great Purchase!!

Warm
I bought these for a cruise and tour in cold weather. True to form I was able to wear them multiple times, just turning wrong side out and shaking, then hanging them up to air at night. My husband threw them in the wash but I kept them out of the dryer. No shrinkage and still getting plenty of use. They are too warm for summer wear, but these are rated for cold.

Upon receipt
I have not tested these yet but boy, they look really nice and do they feel good! I bought heavyweight in like a dark army green they actually look almost charcoal. They are soft and stretchy. I typically wear a 12 and I bought a large and they are a little big but would be fearful to go smaller and have them be too snugg. I plan to wear at night camping in 30 deg weather. I will have to report back how they work out but out of the back I love them!!!! FYI The photo makes the socks look kinda purple and makes the base layers look more brown than they are.

Pills way too easily
They feel super cozy, soft, and honestly aren't itchy. I bought 5 pairs and I had super high hopes. I live up north so I went hiking for the day and I tried on a pair, it was around 30 and it kept me warm so that was great. Would have been perfect if they didn't pill and get small holes on the inner thighs though. I only wore it once for a day hike. I feel guilty about trying to return an item I wore and is now damaged. Almost 100$ loss. I guess if your thighs don't touch these will work. I'm 5'2 and 145-150 lbs for reference.

Great fabric quality and so cute ! but the chest seam of 'Nordic Tale' set might bug some ppl
I'm athletic build 5'3" and 44"hip-37"waist-40"chest, I ordered Large set.The women's baselayer top is probably not as long as the men's and I can feel the seam that runs across the chest on my back when I flex. To be expected I suppose ':) I think I can get used to it.The bottoms are a bit loose but the fabric-covered waistband doesn't pinch, looks great and will be comfy. These are long underwear afterall ;)I think if I ordered the women's top + bottom separately I might get XL top and M bottoms, but tighter bottoms and looser top are my fit preference as an x-country skiier with a long torso and short legs. The included grey socks are nice too but too big for me, seems like size 7-12.All in all happy with my 'aesthetic' long john purchase :))
