This is the second refil I purchased and so far it is great. However the first one I purchased only lasted 4 weeks approximately before it stopped working

Was skeptical to order online due to fakes. But took a chance. Got the refill from the authorized distributor, William Penn, whose store that I usually buy from. Works well and restored my favorite pen
Many years ago, when I graduated from college, I was gifted a heavy black and gold Schaefer Pen from one of my old professors--who had become a dear friend as he gently guided me into a career in higher education. He passed shortly after that day and I have come to cherish the pen, thinking of him and his fidelity to his students, each time that I use it.
