Amazon Basics Large Cat Litter Box with High Sides, Open Top for Easy Access, Includes Scoop with Storage, 19" x 15" x 11.75", Grey/Beige

My only complaint is that the top part does not nap or seal on top of the litter box. So far, my cat hasn't knocked the top off. My cat is apparently a "high pee-er" and was continuously peeing up over the side of our old litter box even though the sides were fairly high up on that one. I do wish that the lid snapped on or was a bit more secure but it's keeping the urine inside the litter box and my cat has not knocked the top off yet. The slits in the scooper are very wide so smaller pieces are harder to scoop up. The sizing was as advertised but the top slants in at a small angle and made it appear smaller than it is.

I used to have one of those flimsy, shallow litter pans — the kind that basically whispers, “Go ahead, cats, redecorate the entire house with your artistic sand‑flinging.” If you’re reading this, you already know the crime scene vibes I’m talking about. Then THIS pan arrived. Oh. My. Stars. It’s not a litter pan — it’s a litter fortress, a majestic containment unit forged in the fires of “I’m tired of sweeping every five minutes.” The walls are high, the structure is sturdy, and the litter stays INSIDE like it finally learned some manners. My two cats inspected it like tiny, judgmental landlords… and then immediately claimed it like it was the VIP lounge at Club Meow. No drama, no hesitation, just a casual “Yes, human, this will do.” Shipping was fast, my floors are no longer a sandbox, and my broom has filed for early retirement. Five stars. Six if Amazon would let me. A standing ovation from every tired cat parent who’s ever stepped on a rogue litter pebble at 2 a.m.

I was looking for a larger litter box that still has higher sides and this appeared to be perfect and at an amazing price! The size and height are perfect and litter is easy to scoop away from (and to wipe off) the sides of the litter box. The only issue is that the box indents slightly, below the entrance, and when the cats pee in the front corners (and they always do) it fills up that area and is extremely hard to get out without making a mess of the box and it takes forever to clean. I will continue using it until I find something better. This product would be so perfect if the design had straight/curved edges all all sides, like it does in the backside of the box. Update: I am figuring out how to scoop the pee out of the front inconvenient corners and found that if you can get under it all from the side of the box and gently push up, it will sometimes (not always) dislodge all of it together at once, including the stuff in the indented area! Its very easy to wipe the remaining off the box with toilet paper before moving the remaining litter back to that area and the box is staying much cleaner and hasn't been quite so bad to scoop. Again, other than the annoying indented corners on the front side of the box, this litter box really is perfect. Changing from 3 to 4 stars. (Without the indented corners it would be 5 stars).

Easier to scoop and clean since there aren’t any seams on the bottom of the box. The cats like the large opening. It’s a nice looking, sturdy, tall box.

My cat loves it and the high sides are great for preventing accidents and keeping litter inside the box.

I was hoping the high sides would prevent litter from being scattered all over the floor and prevent constant cleaning. My kitty keeps me working hard cleaning up after him. Unfortunately, this box doesn't quite do the trick. While it looks much nicer than an open box, I might take the part with the high sides off. In general: 1. The bottom part of the box itself is nice and big. I filled it up extra high to prevent clumps from getting in the groves around the edges that other reviewers complained about, but no so high as to cause splatter. It took about 12.5 pounds of litter. 2. The top part that has the high sides does not snap on, so every time the cat bumps it, it just falls off. That was short sighted in terms of the product design. I ended up having to use masking tape to tape it in place and this is a hassle to scoop and clean now. 3. While my old box was much smaller in measurements, this new one seems smaller because of the high sides. My cat used to stand up on the edge of the old box with his back side hanging into the box so he had more room to turn around because his head and tail didn't run into the high sides and could be over the edges. 4. This box looks nicer and neater that an open litter box. 5. The cat has taken to leaping out of the box since the sides are high, taking all the litter with him that is stuck in his paws. He leaps right over the litter mat and now I find litter all over the house, even on my desk and - yuck - in my bed. There must be better options out there, but for the cheap price of this box I got what I paid for.

If you have a "standing urinator", this is the box for your baby. The top collar keep their business where it belongs. I've bought 2 and am VERY happy with the results.

Love it, perfect size for two cats 🥰. Love the fact that it has the top to it but that the top is open because our cats do not like closed in litter boxes 😩. They were very excited though about their new litter box 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🥰🥰🥰🥰
