Very surprising torch, well packaged and very bright. beam is directional only, but that' what I wanted, we have another one which floods light with a wider beam. This is great for pointing out items to your buddy while diving, the shape is really nice to hold and the switch is easy to use even with gloves.Great value for money - I wouldn't bother with a more expensive torch, give this one a go :)

Have used this on about 10 cave dives and it is a great torch, very powerful and no leakage or anything so far. However, it is not much use for underwater photography as the beam of light is so narrow. Unlike the non-waterproof LED Lenser torches such as the P7 which is fabulous and has an adjustable beam of light (wide or narrow), this is permanently narrow and non-adjustable. If you are looking for a camera to take photos, look for something with a wider or adjustable beam.

This little dive torch is good value for money .... compact and light , it has a bright light and the batteries seem to last a long while ... i have taken it down on 34m dives as my main torch .... neat and handy ! Would be useful as a back up torch too .

Update 5 months later..... 19/11/15The units seems to be faulty and won't switch off. :(Bought this as a special offer. It's for the serious diver and although lacking many of the features and functions of other Lenser torches it is 100% watertight. The on /off switch is activated by a 3 position on - off- on lever switch. This mechanism is magnetic so there is no chance of water ingress over time. Access to the battery compartment is by unscrewing the front end. A water tight O ring is behind the collar ensuring no water ingress is possible.The grip is hard plastic - no ergo comfort grip here.Lenser torches are the best on the market and once you've owned one you won't consider any other brand. The beam is an intense white light not a yellow light as found on other brands.

This is a great little torch for travelling, lightweight, powerful enough for night dives,and small enough to take on every day dive in a pocket. The switch is so much easier to use than the screw on/off types. We find that, although the switch does eventually rust, this torch lasts much longer than a previous succession of similar torches that we have used, and if bought at a good price, gives good value for money. The batteries are AA, easy to replace wherever you are (we use rechargeable), and seem to last for ever. It is also robust, we pack ours in our dive kit bag with no special protection and they have survived some horrendous journeys. As the rusting of the switch seems to be the only thing that ever goes wrong with them, you get good warning when it is time to get a new one, much more reliable than having a torch suddenly pack up on a night dive for no apparent reason.

The switch broke off with minimal impact - just not up to the job - irreparable - forty smackers doon the drain.

I have not yet used it under water, but can confirm that it is incredibly bright yet compact torch with very high build quality that looks like it will withstand some heavy duty treatment. High vis coloured body - useful for location on sea bed or in the bilges of the boat. Only needs 4 x AA batteries. Will be interested to see how long they last.

Lampe d'appoint, bien sur elle n'éclaire pas autant que mon phare, mais elle est largement suffisante pour les vacances, les trous, les grottes...Petits avantages : elle n'a besoin que de piles standards et on peut s'en servir hors plongée

Nonostante sia abbastanza costosa, le prestazioni e gli accorgimenti costruttivi di questa torcia non fanno rimpiangere la spesa. Adatta per un uso intensivo e professionale.

Ich habe diese Lampe jetzt seit über einem Jahr im Einsatz. Ich war damit an der Salem Express (Rotes Meer) tauchen, haben Nachtauchgänge im Dreetzsee gemacht, sie aber auch bei Reperaturen eingesetzt, wenn es mal wirklich hell sein musste oder geschaut, wer da nachts im Garten raschelt (war ein Igel). Beim letzten Nachttauchgang (>80 min, sorry) haben die drei Kowalskies meiner Buddies schlappgemacht, gut dass meine LED Lenser problemlos durchhielt.Alles in allem muss ich sagen: eine top Lampe!* zuverlässig* robust* hell* lange Batterielebensdauer* preiswerter UnterhaltDie vier einfachen Mignons sind billig und halten ewig. Die Lampe wird nicht heiß wie normale Tauchlampen (da fängt kein Rucksack an zu qualmen). Das Licht ist sehr hell und reicht weit. Sie ist mir auch schon mal runtergefallen (2m auf Fliese) und hat außer einer kleinen Delle keinen Schaden davongetragen.Einzig als Fotolampe ist sie nur eingeschränkt zu gebrauchen, da der Kegel recht eng und das Licht zu kalt ist.

je n'ai pas encore eu l'opportunité de tester son étanchéité mais la puissance de la lampe est satisfaisante. Elle était livrée dans un emballage qui la protégeait bien

Habe LED Tauchlampe kuerzlich gekauft und bisher 1mal zum Nachttauchen genutzt. Produkt macht hochwertigen Eindruck und funktioniert perfekt. Lichtkegel ist schoen hell jedoch leuchtet eher einen kleinen Kreis anstatt eine grosse Flaeche aus (daher 4 von 5 Sternen). Im Vergleich zu meinen Tauchbuddies hatte ich die bessere Lampe (eindeutig heller). Kann das Produkt definitiv empfehlen und wuerde es erneut kaufen.
