I just spent $70 on makeup, but why is the foundation emphasizing any dryness or pigment issue. It isnt covering and looks very cakey and horrible!
I tried the linen shade first based on the pictures from the dermanblend site. It was far too yellow. Is this more rosy/pink in the cream shade?
Is anyone using the colors of sepia or chestnut? If so, are there yellow undertones in these shades? Thank you.
Does anyone know what can be used in place of the Vichy dermafinish color nude #25? It seems to have been discontinued.

Fast shipping and excellent packaging. The Leatherman tool feels very premium and sturdy.
Step 1 Apply: Apply foundation with a blender, brush or fingers from the center of face outwards. Step 2 Blend: Build coverage to desired look and blend into skin. Step 3 Set: For up to 16 hours of wear, apply setting powder and leave on for 2 minutes; buff off.

About a year later I was desperate to cover my hyperpigmentation so I got it back out and started playing around with it. I moisturize in abundance, one must moisturize or you will always have lines and bad results with almost any foundation , especially if one is older. I figured out why I was getting bad results. I was putting it on wrong. One can not apply Dermable like drug store foundation. I started \"dabbing or tapping\" it on instead of spreading it on. After my moisturuzer is set then I take some foundation and warm it up on the back of my hand. Then I use my clean finger to \"dab\" or \"tap\" it on focusing on the bad areas. Then I take a flat foundation brush and dab or tap it around to smooth it out and if I need to apply more on the bad spots. After letting it set for a minute or two I take a very soft foundation brush and polish very gently to smooth it out more and spread it out under my eyes so it's not too heavy. Areas of hyperpigmentation I don't bother much after its on so as to not remove too much. I barely use any powder because my skin is so dry but I then use the powder to set it. It's beautifull. The shade and coverage is perfect and it hides all the imperfections. If you are having problems with a foundation that is celebrated by so many, it's usually the application technique that is incorrect. I am also a cosmetologist of over 30 years. I know what looks right."}},{"@type":"Question","name":"I tried the linen shade first based on the pictures from the dermanblend site. It was far too yellow. More than I'd expect for only being one shade apart. I've used both extensively. I prefer that Sepia but obviously that is due to its match with my particular skin tone. I used the Bisque (the next lightest shade) quite a bit too but found that it seemed to make me look ghostly white in photos."}},{"@type":"Question","name":"Does anyone know what can be used in place of the Vichy dermafinish color nude #25?
