What is to replace old Non energy efficient closet lights that came with the house. The old lights actually got hot. These run, cool, are brighter, and use a fraction of the energy so it was a no brainer.

Used them to replace fluorescent two bulb (17W T8) fixtures in two storage closets. Very bright - two to three times as bright compared to fluorescent fixtures they replaced. Extremely light and easy to install. One thing to be aware of - the light fixture is only about 3 inches wide so it will not cover up the hole for the junction box. I installed the fixtures so that they cover the bottom edge of the hole. The upper portion of the hole for the junction box can be seen if you looked straight on but looking up, you can't see it. I saw several complaints about the "non-standard" color of the wires. It conforms to IEC (European) wiring code - blue is neutral and brown is phase 1 or hot. I think this was a good buy - highly recommended.

This is a very nice light fixtures. Easy to mount and very bright. I do love it. Minus 1 star because the wiring runs in the same channel as the mounting bracket so 1 side hangs loose as the fixture will not clamp down over the wiring.

Love the brightness, lightweight, and look of light however, it absolutely fits flush with the wall or ceiling. The problem is it fits so flush that there is no place for the wires to be tucked away in order for it to hang flush. Other than that it is absolutely the easiest and brightest light. I would recommend the light, just be prepared to be creative when installing to hide wires.

Not well made, Very thin wire leads, No wire color code cross reference or ground for installation, Not UL listed, Missing mounted hardware as indicated on box instructions, Runs very hot for an LED light, No instructions other than what's on box and difficult to install due to its flush mounting. That's the negative review. The positive was mainly the pricing. It does work, is very bright and seems to be as advertised. Would spend more money for a higher quality item instead of purchasing again.

This light is Bright. I replaced a fluorescent closet light with one of these. There are only 2 wires for installation. super easy to mount. there are no instructions but it is self explanatory. This is the 3rd different closet light I have tried and my favorite so far. As for the reviewer that said they used it with a ballast, I'm not sure why you would try that, the light fixture is self contained and only requires 120 volt hot wire and a neutral wire (Black and White usually)

I saw the reviews discussing difficulties installing and figured that I could figure something out. I couldn't without making a much bigger change than I want to for this fixture. The wiring wasn't a problem as that was easy enough to figure out. The problem is that it is flush mounted but with no where for the wire to go. My other fixtures all allow me to put the wire connection into the back of the fixture itself or in the box. In my case I don't have a box so that isn't an option. If If I had one, the there isn't any place for the wire to go as they run it through the channel that the brackets that hold the light use. So you either don't use the brackets in which case I guess you tape it to your ceiling or you have to come up with some other way to deal with the wire which probably includes it being visible and draped across your ceiling in whatever klugey set up you are able to devise. For me totally unusable.

Bought this and installed just over a year ago and still working fine. The light is bright and easy to install. The construction quality is decent. It's light weight, but not too light to the point of those low quality strip light. The look is just like traditional light. Like it.
