The third 'Garfield Fat Cat 3-Pack' collection was released in 2007, and continued the chronicling of Garfield, the lazy, lasagna-loving, Monday-hating, wise-cracking fat cat, his long-suffering owner Jon, brainless dog buddy/foe Odie, and all of the other characters that the genius cartoonist Jim Davis introduced to the world in his best-known and best-loved comic strip.This chunky volume combines three books, 'Garfield Sits Around the House', 'Garfield Tips the Scales' and 'Garfield Loses His Feet', which contain most of Garfield's comic strips which were published between from January 11 1982 to October 23 1983, in full colour.These books are a great way to play 'catch-up' with the history of Garfield, which makes it very easy to do as the comic strips are presented chronologically. Most are one-shots, relying on simple situations that the cat finds himself in, ending with his trademark observation and acid wit, but some are longer-stories, which were spread were spread out over a week or so. One thing remains consistent, the witty dialogue, which still stands as fresh and funny today, ensuring that nothing in the book appears dated, and why 'Garfield' remains such a timeless character. As Jim Davis himself once said, ''He's practically human.''

Garfield is a great classic comic. Its fun for kids and adults too! This is the best way to buy them, in a 3 volume pack, its practically the price of one single volume. Garfield is a good choice for reluctant readers too!

Gefallen hat mir, dass ich mich wie immer auf eine pünktliche (trotz Poststreik) Lieferung verlassen konnte. Und natürlich liebe ich jeden einzelnen Comic-Strip des dicken Katers! Ich kann einfach nicht genug von ihm bekommen, egal ob auf Deutsch oder auf Englisch, er ist immer gut. Muss die Bücher nur vor meiner eigenen Katze verstecken, damit sie nicht auf seltsame Ideen kommt, wenn sie die Comics anschaut!!!!
