Q: The bottle says this is for dark yellow vehicles. Does this have broader application, for example across other colours?

It's a bit strange how they market this tbh but yeah it's just a dark brownish colour so you can use it on any colour as long as you want a slight brown grimy look. I've even used this as a wash on white and pink vehicles and looks great so it's a very versatile product. This one is designed for yellowy tank camo I think but other shades are maybe better for what you want.

Q: why is this product listed as acrylic when its enamel?

If you check the description, it says "suitable for use with acrylic or enamel paints". It can be used over a base coat of either, but the product itself is enamel, as shown on the product image where it clearly says "enamel".
